Be careful where you do pull over to the side of the road. A few years back I was told that the road shoulder was for emergencies only. I go for coffee and a paper every morning. There is a tree along Route 15 outside Gettysburg PA between the Tannytown road and Baltimore Pike exits. On most mornings a hawks sits in a tree along the road. I pulled over one morning on the shoulder one morning to grab some shots. A trooper pulled in after me and I was told that road shoulder was for emergency use and told to move on.
Always on, It seems to work well.
I prefer the first one because of the mountain and the sky.
I go to Baltimore quite often as I live in Gettysburg. Fells Point Bertha's Mussels great places to eat in little Italy and the inter harbor. I mainly use the cabs to get around the city or the water taxi to go to Fells Point. I have enjoyed many a New Years in the inter harbor with my better half. Baltimore is a great place to spend the day.
I prefer #1, the horse does not look like it belongs.
I remember an apple the size of a grapefruit that grew in a field row next to the well house on the farm. Name was Pound Apple the tree is long gone now I do not know if Pound Apples grown today.
I have a couple of 202's and a couple of lenses, flash and a few other pieces. I still use them from time to time.
I use the Kenko with all my Nikor lenses no problems. If you are not going to use it very often I would go with the Kenko.
I have seen a crack in a 1973 Corvette 30 years ago but that is the only one I ever saw with a crack.
Last cruse I used a 70 - 300 most of the time. I also take a monopod it doubles as a walking stick.
The bee but it seems a little over sharpened.
An 85 should do the job in most cases. I used an 85 in the film days and got great results. Now I use a 100 not much difference.
