Cruise lenses- looking for the voice(s) of experience

Hi all - Taking a cruise this summer to the Caribbean and am trying to pare down my equipment to the minimum. I'm thinking of just taking 2 lenses - Tamron 10-24mm and Tamron 18-270mm. I think this would give me more than adequate coverage and along with my flash (SB-700) and maybe a travel monopod, I can get this all into a smaller backpack. I do have more lenses (all prime 35, 50 and 85mm) and other gear, but don't want to be burdened down with stuff I probably won't use anyway.
Thoughts??

From personal experience, on a cruise to new Caledonia, those two lenses will be fine. I did not take a flash/tripod/monopod.

I agree with RT, those two would work and forget the monopod/tripod/flash. Just extra clutter to drag along! Enjoy!

I agreee with the others that the two lenses are fine, but I always take a tripod, always.

Our last cruise was the Panama Canal...98% of my shots were with my 24-120mm attached to my D750. I did use the flash on one or two occasions aboard ship, i.e. taking photos of my cabin, friends I met aboard ship, set up tripod to take selfie of wife and I, etc...if your crunched for space probably not worth bringing flash...the only time I used any other lens was actually going thru the canal to take photos of things on the shore, I did use my 70-300 and one of the photographers I met on board had a 150-600 and used it too, again only thru the canal...all my excursions I just carried the one lens I mentioned above...in my humble opinion the your 18-270 will be more than adequate...I doubt you'll take the 10-24 out of the bag, but it's a light lens, correct....heck, take it. Have fun look forward in seeing your photos.

Your 18 - 270 will do just fine. Leave the strobe, bring the Monopod. I took several mini bungee cords to use as an add hoc monopod clamp; worked really well. I assume from your lens description, you've got a Canon or Nikon? Use the built in flash, but get a clip on flash diffuser like Gary Fong's Puffer.

The 18-270 is all you need. Be sure to bring a CP.
Unlikely you'll use monopod or flash.
Practice making Panos with your 18-270. They'll be better than using the 10-24.

On our recent Panama canal cruise I had use for a long lens on a couple of the shore excursions: Aviry in Cartegania and Crocodiles in Costa Rica. I didn't bring my best one and wished I had.

Great advice and thanks to all. Forgot to mention I have a D7200 and I have a set a set of snap-on diffusers for the popup flash however I do like the power of the SB700 for indoor and group shots.
Now to head to Port Miami and head on out. Hopefully I'll have some great photos to post when I get back.

Maybe two bodies to eliminate changing lenses. I usually travel with two bodies and two lenses.

Those two lenses will do nicely even though they are Tamrons (poor guy). Leave the mono pod. If the SB-700's head can be turned up and behind you for pleasing shots inside, take it, but if your camera has a pop up flash, that could get you by if you are used to it's results. Remember the first rule of traveling with camera's, travel lite travel right.
