My uncle had a simple solution. He primarily shot hand held. When needing extra stability for slow shutter speeds he had a board that went across the arm rests. Resting his elbows on the board worked well for him. My aunt put some cushioning on the board to make it more comfortable.

O use it on Windows 10, works well for me. Should work on either system. Get the Windows version and try it, I think they have a 30 days.
