I am planning to rent canon 24-70mm 2.8. L USM on my canon 60D for National Deaf Track & Field Champion on April 12-13, 2013. I choose 24-70 because I will be on the field and walk around with the runners, coaches during the events. I know 70-200 will be better but too close. 24-70 is better so. What is your recommanded, setting ? Like sport mode or TV, metering, program? I am learning.. Thanks for your help

I rent the canon 70-200mm 2.8 L USM IS II on my 60D for shooting the bald eagles. I took some great pictures and few not great because the eagles flew over my head, use 200 mm, see last bottom picture ( claws hold the fish ). Which mode 1 or 2 should I use? Thanks for your feedback.

Well, I bought promaster hood. It costs 18 dollars. The canon hood price is 40 dollars. Both look same. I rather buy promaster. Just hood!
