Remember when people who refused to wear a mask were being vilified? They were accused of killing others despite any scientific evidence that the mask is effective against the virus. The vaccine has gone through stringent approvals yet there is no uproar against those who say they will not take the vaccine.

Correct. So, if you had stage 4 lung cancer and got a cold, you would likely die. Did the cold kill you? Would it be listed as cause of death?
What the report means is that if you don’t have other issues (average of 2.6) then there is very little chance you will die from Covid. Those with comorbilities are the ones that need to be protected.
