My wife and I use the my files app included in the android system to view files from the Sd card from a game camera. You have to go through several folders to get to the pictures but it works ok.

I use My Files to view and move files to/from the external USB Flash drive. And I can view the files, one at a time. But finding a particular one gets cumbersome having to select each file individually or viewing it using the tiny thumbnail that it gives. I am seeking an app like a Gallery app, that will allow me to view all of the files in a directory, one at a time, full screen (on the phone, anyway), and where it can even do a slideshow-like viewing, without having to create a separate slide show. The Gallery apps I have seen (and use) do that for folders on the phone, but not on an external USB Flash. That is what I seek, if there is one. But thank you for the great reply. It comes close, but not quite.

(Oops, sorry for the duplicate post. I just wanted to quote the response I was replying to.)

Thank you, but I do not wish to upload to the cloud. I prefer to just keep it with my local equipment.

I was wondering if anyone knows about an Android phone app where I can take a group of my photos stored on a USB flash drive and view them on my cell phone as a side show, without having to move them onto the phone itself. I don't have a lot of room on my phone to store them, and I don't want to have to move them to the phone to view them and then move them back off to make room for other files I want to view. This will also help me to view files I have just taken without having to use my camera battery to view them. Thank you so much for the help.

Sometimes, the printer manufacturer updates the driver set in such a way that it is difficult to update. Sometimes, you have to delete the driver and install it with the newer driver set. Not for those who lack some confidence.

If your printer is wireless only, as mine are, sometimes you need to check your router, too, to ensure it maintains a good connection (including signal strength. I recently had a problem with my wife's printer, since it wouldn't print, and the computer and printer are right next to each other, but the router was in another room. I went out and bought a new one (different brand and type, since the old one was 5 1/2 years old), set it up, and it worked beautifully and immediately. But you might want to make sure before you have to go to that step.

Be careful when you do these. They can be simple to do, but not so much if you lack knowledge or confidence in your own abilities.

Try using a tripod. Or if you camera has a two second delay.

Or, maybe a monopod, like I do. It may look funny, but at least I get my shots a great percentage of the time. Hands don't work like I'd like, and I find myself doing the same thing, and a monopod fixed it for me.

That cartoon about says it all about California, and I live here (unfortunately sometimes).

I just resolved the same problem. My printer would almost never start to print right away. I suspected it might be a router problem, since it was about 5 1/2 years old. Once replaced, my network response for printing (2 different printers for 2 different computers) became lightning fast again.

So, if you are having a problem like that, check router issues (age, strength of signal, placement, etc.).

Totally agree with you!! The ESPN, FOX, NBC, etc announcers are only as good as their cheat sheets. I miss Dizzy Dean and Pee Wee Reese.

The part nobody realizes is that Vinny had a ton of cheat notes that he, himself gathered from the players directly, and he did the work himself. And as he is so well respected by all of us, He is most respected by so many of the people in the game - players, managers, executives, etc. He did the work and shared it, kinda like a campfire story that would do nothing but captivate you, and the game would just fly by, and you would lose track of time enjoying it so much.

As a kid, I learned so much about baseball listening to games at night with my transistor radio under my pillow, and I learned so much.

Vinny, you are the best. Thank you for all that you gave to us so willingly. You are my GOAT - Greatest of all time.

I had thought that USB drives had a spec like SD and microSD cards, where with no add-on, it could use up to 4GB, HD was from 8GB to 32GB, and XD was from 64GB on up (to over 1TB). I cannot find reference to that anywhere, though. But for the car, it is all about what the car specs say is the maximum capacity it can read, and what the file format must be. Check with the car dealership if it is a radio that was originally sold with the car, or the manufacturer of the stereo if it was an add-on after you bought the car.

Hope that helps.

It happens with computers, so I guess it can happen with cell phones: not all software will run. I wanted to download the GoPro app to my phone, a Samsung Galaxie J3. Unfortunately, the app is not compatible with that phone. I was able to download it to my Moto e6 (or 6e?). This is the only time that software wouldn't work, but I guess it's something to keep in mind.

It may be the OS for the older phone is incompatible, since it may not have the features that the OS requires to perform certain tasks.

I would do what I thought should have been done from the beginning.

I would gather all of the info on symptoms, and make it readily and clearly available.

Then I would gather all of the info on treatments, along with a reasonably expected likelihood to succeed.

Then I would gather all of the info about the vaccines, good and bad, and make them available.

Then I would tell every American to look over the information, and how it interacts with your life and the lives of your family members. Then discuss it, as needed with your doctor and/or religious leadership, and anyone else you may feel a need to hear from. Maybe even with your friend to share ideas.

Then I would advise people on what those choices may mean, involving what may result from what you do or not do, and what may result upon you from what others choose to do or not do.

Then I would say to make a choice and do what you choose to do or not to do.

And none of it would involve any politics, from either side. And I would recommend local governments to take local charge on what needs to be done, but do not do things that have major impacts unless absolutely necessary, and try to keep it limited.

To me, that is what a free country would do for their people, ALL of the people.

I'm guessing we're saying the same thing. Watch only CNN and you remain ignorant. Watch only Fox and you remain ignorant. Watch both and you have a chance of getting at the core of an issue.

No, you just get each side's points, which end upmaking ALL of it just propaganda, and you don't know which side is true anymore.

And that is the real shame.

I tend to keep my older cell phones and use them as app devices. I use useful apps on them, but do not have use of it as a cell phone. I even went out once and bought a cheap pay as you go phone (pay for minutes as you go) to use to replace an iPod that failed, and it works fantastically! I can use then for stored videos, pdf ebooks, and photos. I can also use them for Kindle books if I download them on my LAN while at home, but should still be able to read them away from home, if I desire. Lots of good uses for these devices once they are done as a cell phone.
