Took this shot the other day of one of the trucks I had ordered for the company I retired from. Dull, dreary day with considerable moisture in the air, which is why I think the flare around the strobe light occurred. I would like to remove the flare, or at least tone it down before I send it to the company, but I'm not sure how to. I use PS Elements 13. Could be worse. Both strobes could have fired at the same time!
Canon 6D with an EF70-200 f/2.8 L II.
Thanks for any help!

After re-reading your post.
when you take a photo, it will count the shot.
your photos are counted from 101 being the first shot.
all of your shots counhted will show up as IE: 101-105 and so on
The number 101 is the very first number of your pic file on the camera and also the d7000mfolder number. the number after the 101-xxx i the number of the photo.
But that is on the upper right of the screen. On my d7000 any way.

the number you see on the lower right side after a pic is taken is the
resolution of your photo. When you set your size of photo to smal, med, or large. it will show up on the lower right side of your screen when you take a photo, or review the photo.

Hope this helps

Something to think about, On christmas at a party I was aked to take a group shot of about 40 people in the house at night.
I was asked because I was the only one with a camera, I had my D7000 and a 35mm lense and o external flash. Not prepared to do this at all. II took the challenge and had everyone in 3 rows, about 9 or 10 in a row. I set my 35mm to it largest opening and and used a make shift diffusser with a napkin for my pop up flash. Took 3 photo of the group to make a panorama.
I took the same photo, 3 times, because not all will look into the camera at the same time. It always happens.
It will work with a little PP.

Just a note that you can do the pics with you lense that came with the camera. ( Just my 2 cent )

Happy New Year )

here is a pic of me trying a macro technique. to the best of my memory, my setup was ISO 400. 125-sec at f/8, ring flash.

it is only a pinhead, but it is something simple to work with.
Please tell me how to improve it. Is it a Macro? or just a close-up.
If so why is it a close up or why is it a macro.
I have read books, watched youtube. As far as i can tell, this is a macro but the confusion is. A macro should be 1:2, if not it is just a close up.
I believe that a close up could be cropped to 1:1 or larger.
Please tell me / teach me , what is the difference?
I watched on you tube a woman from India show macro techniques with just a Macro setting on the camera.. It looked like a close up.
A video put out by B&H, was good at explaining macro, but, the photos he showed did not fill the frame and ;looked like a close up.
Very confusing, to me any way. I desperately need help.
I have sent a photo with the exif , maybe it can help.
Thank you in advance. Hobbycam

Bud Root, dont worry about the camera, yuou are fine.
I use several brands and I cant tell you how many times I have forgotten to check to make sure i had both lense and camera set to auto or manual. Nothing went badf for me with the equipment so far.

Just my 2 cents :-)
