editing Metadata
I used the search button and found what seemed like a great meda editor. I couldnt figure out how to use it.
when all else fails read the manual. There i find out that it doesnt work with RAW files.
I would like to add my name to the metadata and maybe a pic name
does anyone know of an easy to use free software that will do this.

EXIFTOOL is free and will display and edit metadata - get the GUI front end to it so you don't need to use command line. (PYEXIFTOOLGUI)

The only editing I've done with metadata is changing date or time.

Adding your name can be done automatically through your camera's Menu system. If the pictures have already been taken, then you'll need an editor.

Some of the PP software will do that, I know PS does.

I dont knnow if ou use Pse at all, but in the organizer, if you have pse or photoshop, you can add you name and copy right. I have it on my and when i dl to the organizer it places it in automatically.
