Here's one for ya, my first computer back in 1980 (maybe a couple yrs earlier) I purchased a Hewlitt Packard 286XP with a 20 meg HD and two 5.25 floppy's, a 13" Quad Chrome monitor and an HP wide carriage matrix printer. $5,400.00. The funny thing is, the salesman said never in a hundred years would I fill the 20 meg HD. I wonder if I can get a refund. Dammit he lied to me.

Yes, definitely. If the seller doesn't want to pay the 2.9% fee, he should raise the price by 2.9% to make up for the loss.

Wouldn't that be like a dog chasing it's tail? You raise the price to cover the tax, but the tax is more cause you raise the price, No?

Convenience for sure. How many years did we do just fine with the Rand McNally maps. 8 trips cross county and back, here I am, not lost, direction wise that is. )

It got where it was going though right? Funny how we complain about everything and never compliment when things go the way we expect/want.

I use Google "GPTchat for AutoCAD", ask it a question and it'll create a macro, script or a Lisp routine to save multiple mouse presses & time on day to day boring tasks. If not on the money, tell it and it'll go off on tangents till it nails down what you want. Huge time saver. The only fault in it, human interaction.

I'm down to 12,000 emails from a high of 76,000. Right now, I'm deleting emails from 2019, and it's like a time capsule. There is no mention of Covid-19. I have emails from a couple of people who are no longer living. Items in the news that seemed important at the time are meaningless now.

As I mentioned before, I'm deleting email from Spectrum RoadRunner, and I can delete only 100 at a time, and it can take up to a minute to delete a page. When it freezes, I have to reload the program. Sometimes, I'm not able to sign in to the account. All that email goes to my Gmail account, so I can still read it.

If your using Outlook, you could create another PST, make it your primary and not worry about the other, or archive, delete or just take it off-line.

This is interesting.

Smart TVs are meant to be used without cable. The freedom to choose from numerous streaming services is part of what makes these devices so great. All you need to start watching content on your smart TV without cable is a high-speed internet connection. The device must be connected to your home’s Internet to work.

What cables are required for smart TV?

All you need is one HDMI cable.

You need a provider, (Mesh network preferred) and a boat load of apps...by the time your done, it's up to what cable cost for the average user. My daughter just did this. No prime channels. 2, 4,5,7 (well 5 I don't consider a channel)but you can have an ole time antenna for those channels, they still broadcast from the Empire State building.

I just realized the humor behind the term "Waiting Room" at a doctor's office. Yes, WAITING!

I go tomorrow for one of those "follow-up" visits. Five minutes with the doctor and half the day in the "Waiting Room."

I reversed billing when I was made to wait almost 3 hrs. That was 20 yrs ago, today...I wait 5 minutes, every time I go... same doc.

I finally ordered a Wen momentary foot switch for my DeWalt table saw. The standard switch is in a hidden location under the table. I can never find it on the first try. I still have ten fingers, and I'd like to keep it that way.
Camel3 sent me an email telling me that it's on sale for about $13. That gave me the push to buy it.

You should have one face mounted so when your done, your knee is right at the off switch....just lean in with knee and shut it off, have um all my table saws. Most top brands ( shop saws) come with them in that position.

At times my Epson's require you to remove / insert the rear panel. My wife prints a ton of S$^T and yells into my office from the other end of the house "can you put more paper in printer" I do and it continues printing. (Epson WF 7520 all in one)

Probably worth it, me and a buddy drive about 40 miles (round trip) for DQ burgers. Thankfully it's not around the corner. I'd be 100 lbs heavier
