My Sister and Nephew are coming out from California for a week. I think I’ll take them there. Thanks

60 yrs of photography starting with a plastic P&S using 127 film, first 35mm was an Argus C3, followed by a Nikkormat FTN, Stillo shoot with Nikkormats ( FT2 & EL ), Nikon F2, F3, FM2n, N90s, D200 and D300

My very first camera at the age of 10, I was given a Leica M2 from my uncle that I shot 100’s of rolls through and now I’m 73 I still have it and it is still in great shape.

I think I just caught the worst case of GAS.

I only have 2 pieces for many years & 4 in the previous 5, but just the last 40 days, it blew to a couple of dozen and i'm itching for more...

Dang! Who's got a cure? I think I really need one.

There is no cure! I have a very large collection of Cameras over 350 (lost count at that point). But before cameras I started on pocket watches and wristwatches and I’m still collecting and repairing both. At times I’m so broke I can’t even pay attention😂🤣. As the last I heard the Mayo Clinic is working on a cure but to this day they still haven’t come up with any. My sympathy caring and concern goes out to you and your family. (Oh Oh I just got a M9 Bulova Astronaut) 😂. Enjoy! Bruce

I Really love Connecticut. I was born and raised in Northern California and loved the mountains and the Beaches. I moved here in 1970 for Submarine school and fell in love with New England. I rode Motorcycles and found many gorgeous breathtaking back roads that you can ride all day and hit 7 different states and still be home for dinner. Connecticuts 4 seasons keeps it from being boring. It’s so green and beautiful in summer, has gorgeous Fall colors and just the right amount of snow in winter and when spring comes the cycle starts all over. Lots of history to see a day trip.

Way to much clutter in front of your subject and your subject is so out of focus. This would be a time you would want to use manual focus to bring your subject in focus to I’d your subject better. At first I thought the bridge was a bent over tree in a wooded lot. One good thing about this photo is a lesson learned.

I received a email saying my Nikon Z9 had a update for 4.01. I knew I just did 4.0. It also had a download file button. I thought this was odd. I looked on website and did not see and update for 4.01....

I went to Nikonusa and looked up z9 firmware and 4.01 was listed took a screen shot

The camera is just a sketchbook, to be finished later in PhotoShop.

This I totally agree with you. Even the great film photographers finished their Art in the dark room not just a SOOC, they didn’t just print it and ship it. Any one that did a lot of darkroom work knows photoshop isn’t that much different except it is a lot faster with immediate feedback and a lot safer without all the chemicals.

So, in other words: before we had photoshop there were no successful photographers. This includes Cartier Bresson and Anselm Adams.

Granted Ansel Adam’s didn’t use photoshop for his photos but he and others that worked for him worked many hours in his darkroom getting the basic same result as what photoshop does by removing items, cropping, dodging, burning and more. I’ve seen preliminary working print of his all marked up outlining where and how much to burn x stops dodge x stops, move, remove etc. El Capetian took him months or years to get it the way he wanted not just SOOC. He would have love Photoshop. Some of his books are ever so enlightening to what work made him a master in photography

Looking at it, I believe this wagon was at one time used for some pretty heavy hauling. I guess they wore it out and stuck off in the pasture.

Looks like an old manure spreader
