I think I just caught the worst case of GAS.
I only have 2 pieces for many years & 4 in the previous 5, but just the last 40 days, it blew to a couple of dozen and i'm itching for more...
Dang! Who's got a cure? I think I really need one.

A novel display/photo would be to pin the watches inside a jacket hanging on the wall. Or have a naked person wear the jacket.

I have no interest in Wrist Watches. I was guessing you had GAS to buy a bunch of Gold Coins.

I had the same problem when I was younger. Once per year, K-mart would sell well-known watch brands for $29.95 and my wristwatch and pocket watch collection grew and grew. I just got tired of buying watches, so I buy one only when needed now, but I am 84 years old. There is no telling how much $$ I spent over the years. Thank Goodness that is a past problem.

I did had 4 dslrs plus a bunch of other cameras at one time but was able to control that one and slim down. The watches got out of hand real quick.

Collecting gold bars is better than gold coins. They charge too much for minting, it double or even triple the price compared to the amount of metal the coin have.
In bars, the overhead is much smaller that one gets more bang for the buck.
1 gram, 5 gram bars can be bought but their overhead is bigger compared to the price of the actual gold so when buying bars, bigger is better. At least 10 grams and above.

I was not really interested until 40 days ago.
Just learning the rope now.
I work in the retail business, on the advertising part and our shop sells rolex.
I had a look out of curiosity. Not only where the price well above my practical mindset, I also found out that we are not allowed to buy a rolex in our own shop

I was hoping to get out of this rut as soon as possible.
A watch every two days is not healthy. The wife just might kill me

Well done. The only cure is to balance the Rolex’s with a few Breguets! Don’t stop now. Enjoy.

Pretty good start! I don't see any pocket watches in your collection... yet?
