Hi, I am asking Santa for a Wacom Intuos Pro for Christmas. Could anyone that uses a Wacom tablet advise me on which size to get, a medium or large.
Thanks
Anne

I have the Large Intuos4 (actually the same, almost, as the Intuos5 and Pro models). I like the larger work surface, although it takes up a lot of "desk space".

Yet another reason not to buy Nikon. All the problems discussed above appear far too often on this site are a very good reason to avoid buying anything Nikon.

I've been using Nikon (Nippon) since the mid-late 50s', and Had only ONE problem with my equipment in about 60 years. Everything from the rangefinders (S1, S2, SP) to the D7100 and D800E; was a software malfunction. Bet you can't say that about your "favorite brand"...

Go to vestedinterest.com. They make incredible vests for photographers, not cheap, but customized for your type of photographic interests. Workmanship and materials are a-one.

My first use of a computer was with the ATLAS computer at London University. It was housed in air-conditioned rooms. Communication was with punched paper tape. Turn around time for a program submitted was 1 week! Language used was EXCHLF and I cannot recall what those initials stood for. For old times sake i still have some of the paper tape programs that I submitted during the Masters course I was following. Prior to moving to Apple Mac I built my own PC's.

It stands for "Extended CHLF" and CHLF stands for Camridge-Harwell-London-Farnborough

Another typical half-truth over-sensationalized Washington Post story.

Questioned for two straight hours? Really? According to whom, the parents? The Post conveniently ommits naming the source, as it would turn this into a non-story: a kid brings a mock gun to school, aims it a fellow students, is separated from the rest of the student body, and the parents are called. Nothing unusual.

According to one from a different source, the kid was "arrested" (so to speek) at 8:35, and his mother was not called until about 10:30; do the math

Any body in the market for the new Canon EF 200-400mm f/4L IS USM Lens with Internal 1.4x Extender? You will only need about $12,000!

How about this one; comes with the hard case ( and a $6K price drop)

I will use the same stand my AB is on..... Which is from Paul buff.?..... It's a great stand.

Did you look at Paul Buff's PLMs? They are about $20 cheaper than the Wescott and will mount directly to your AB's.

It looks like your actually looking for a book about HDR. Here's an older one (from 2009) that I found quite helpful; in fact I still use it as a reference. "HDR Photography Photo Workshop" by Pete Carr and Robert Correll. It's still available on Amazon for around $25:

First; leave the 3 long lenses at home (indoor group shots will require a wide angle lens). Use the "commander" strobe (on the camera) to control the 700 and 900 (as remotes). Best to get an umbrella to diffuse the 900, aimed at the group, and bounce the 700 off a large (neutral colored) surface; think, maybe, ceiling... Try to keep the group(s) as "compact" as possible. I use steps like this quite often. If I need more than 2 command groups for flash control, I switch over to using my SU-800 as the commander, or use one of my 900's or 800's as the commander.
