If money is an issue you could do the work yourself. I did my dad's 8mm bought the machine new on eBay and will resell it used to recoup most of the expense. 4000' done in 3 weekends. 267 for the machine. Not sure if there is a 16mm one for consumers. The slides should be easy to do the same type of thing with.
I would do the whole bunch. Do not pick and choose as like art what is important to some may be looked over by others.
Sorry not buying into that hype unless there is a substancial improvement in lens speed. For most people they are already happy with a phone camera. But high quality fine art on a phone will be hard to replicate.

Thank you all for the comments. I did not have much luck. In my defense the water was not cooperating as image one shows
Image one is giving you the finger. I think it is a cool shot.

This has been around for a while. It is a complete fake and done in photoshop. Animals just don’t work together like this and I find little to appreciate in the photo at all.
Totally agree with you. It is a composite fairytale image. It is not a photo to me as it became digital art. I prefer real natural scenes and give this image no value to me. Nice rose colored glasses thoughts but not reality.

I would not have gone to the Dominican Republic. Problem solved.
My thoughts too. And 10k to do buggy riding in a jungle. 10k is a lot for Dominican vacation unless paying for the whole party. To each their own.
I agree with many not to take your good gear in those conditions.

First off this is not about 'listening' but reading.
As to your suggestion... Really? How is this about photography? We are not taking English 101.
Your about me says it all and then some...
I agree. Also some posts are so long I lose interest and scroll past or quit reading the thread all together.
No this is not about English but if you want people to read what you have to say proper grammar, punctuation and paragraphs will get your point across much better. A forum is about written communication does not matter the subject...
Great image but could of done without the political commentary. And never believe one side of a story.
Blurb produces a high quality product.
I assume you meant 64 GB and not MB. If this is the case it might not handle that large a card. See if there is a factory reset button on the back. Good luck.
Sharpness is over rated. You have a very nice image you can appreciate for years to come.

Not even close. One makes honey in hives. The other live in small colonies. One can only sting once and dies afterward the other can sting multiple times and is a lot nastier.
SOOC to me is a snapshot with no real vision. SOOC would only be a raw file untouched by processing flat and dull. If a jpeg SOOC then it has been post processed just by the camera as it is a portable processor. I don't understand how those people can get so hung up on the term. If SOOC is that important might as well shoot film with a disposable camera and send it away for processing and wait to see what the developer did to your images.
As far as professionals not being artsy I see plenty of good pros who make artsy images be it portrait, landscape, or other genres.
