I do not know when this tradition started, but it was probably after the adoption of the use of steel traps. My connection to Gloucester goes back to 70’s & 80’s when I did 3 commercial construction projects. Near the end of the 3rd I met my wife who was born and raised in the Bayview neighborhood.

A couple in Newman GA found this screech owl inside their Christmas tree when they started to decorate the tree. They tried to encourage it to leave, but it kept coming back to the tree. They finally called animal control who removed the owl and took it rehabber to be checked for any health issues before being released back to the wild.

No, it is not new. We have had Amazon Prime delivering for 2 years in ATL metro. 1 day delivery for lots of stuff if stocked locally - and yes they deliver 7 days a week. They are beating they heck out of UPS & Fedex. If you have not noticed they subcontract with a air cargo carrier for shipments. The planes carry the prime logo.

There are no true camera stores in / around Atlanta. About the best you will find is “Best Buy” and they have pumped up their displays and in stock items. I recommend them to actually pick up the actual camera.
