I have noticed. I visit, look around, come back 2 days later and the same topics are there with nothing new. The sad thing is, people complaining about not getting new members. are they the same people that belittle everyone? The same people that complain if someone new asks a question thats been asked before . Then they berate them?
The same people that when a person asks about buying a new camera or lens , dont give constructive answers , They just say your wasting your money , why would you want that?
This places is getting worse and worse and many of us visit less and less.
oh and why did I want the Z9, new canon, new sony ? because! just because, no other reason and if you cant afford it, or dont understand it, too bad.
when using Photoshop and maybe some other software.
I put my initials someplace on the photo. very very small. if you dont look for it, you'll never see it.
photoshop allows for some very small printing. Then if someone claims my work, those initials come in handy.
and yes I had one of my photos in a magazine, and I didnt put it there, didnt get paid, didnt get recognition and no attorney wanted to help with it. here is what I learned. I have to prove its my work.
thats NOt easy . Putting a copyright notice on your work is not enough.
you need to have it copyrighted with the Coppyright office.
Then its easier to prove.
The CR office made changes., You can now copyright up to 750 photos at one time. There are a few rules concerning them. all for one form and one fee.
nice set, if she has a sister, send her my way would ya....
I would think 450 images is overkill. Have you tried less images?
BUT if your getting the results you want then great.
in the year 2000 I took a picture. Edited it with what ever editor I had at the time.
Very recently I needed that picture. When I found it, it was terrible. My editing 20+ years ago left a lot to be desired. Having the RAW file I reedited the pic to my new standards.
Had I deleted it, i am not sure I could have gotten the image I needed.
When taking photography class, I was told to save EVERYTHING ...Glad I listened.
in photography classes we were to find a tree stump. Then shoot it from every angle. submit all the pix and choose which you liked best and why. I shot it from above looking down which was my fave shot. I was the only one that shot a stump looking down. but yes angles and position make a difference
imagine the photos with either rising or setting sun on those mountains reflecting in the river
Head to Sanibel, shoot the light house. Then head to ding Darling lots of birds, while at ding darling. Park on the right side of the road, just past the toll booth ( yes u gotta pay) There is a nice wide path behind the booth. Head maybe 1000 feet to the board walk on the left. always something to see there. Possibly gators, some times otters. Take the stairs up to the look out ..... back to your car, all the mud flats will k have birds. sometimes you can shoot fish as they jump ( some days lots jumping) . stop and go up in the observation tower . when you leave the park, go thru the gate.( secrets no one knows but residents) , if you turn right where the sign says no turns ( as long as no one is looking) stop at the little bridge, you may see manatees to shoot. get back on the road out. Turn right on Wulfert ( its last road before the main road) go to almost the end and look for parking on the right. There is a path that will take you to the water .... some days lots of birds some days none. enjoy the island....
my 600 mm lens is much sharper at 560mm than 600 mm so I always bring it down a bit. its all experimenting to see what works best with your lens and camera
lets see, one pic a minute, thats 60 in an hour and 600 for 10 hours.
broadcast TV is 24 frames per second thats a 25 second clip. if its a 4 day job thats 100 seconds.
is that too much? too little.
personally Id do every 15 seconds. which is 2400 per hour. making a 100 sec video. which you could then shorten
I used to make cabinets at one time. My table saw will do magical things with all t he jigs I have.
its nice to make your own frame, but you just cant beat having someone make one in an hour for you.
I just updated my photoshop to the latest version.
I load a photo, work on it, then click print.
I should get a box with questions, size ,paper etc.
when I click the print button
Photoshop shuts down. ( didnt do that on the old version)
I restarted PS ,restarted the computer, uninstalled and reinstalled PS
Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem with the latest version.
Its MUCH easier to ask here then to spend hours with tech support at Adobe.
This may have been posted before but its still worth seeing again. I am sure some of you would be interested.
this camera does 10 trillion frames a second.
yes 10 trillion. It is so fast it captures light as it moves thru the air.
