I now have Lightroom CC on my Laptop and on my Desktop. I have sync'd the catalog on my desktop to the cloud. I would like the catalog on my desktop and laptop be the same. Since I travel a lot I have many files on the laptop that are not on the desktop. Looking for the best workflow way to bring both desktop and laptop into "sync". Then I could use the cloud catalog with both. Thanks.

Yes, the situation troubled him.
Purely out of the goodness of his heart no doubt.
I am sure he will waive all rights to any payment from the multimillion dollar estate for legal services and incurred costs that he has endured?

When do you turn VR (or IS) on?

Some say turn it on and forget it, while others say turn it off and only use it when you have to.

What do you say?

I grew up in Venice Beach in the late 50's early 60's. Visited a few years back and was shocked by the dramatic changes. What was once an amazing mixture of old world elegance mixed with families and a few beatniks is now an outrageous spectacle of society in the throws of chaos. Yes, an intriguing place to photograph but what the heck!

I think your image tells part of the story nicely. Would like to see him and his stuff a bit more isolated but that may have been tough in a crowded environment.

I took this picture near sunset on Venice Beach of a homeless man. I was generous and gave him $5. When I took it I new it had to be B&W. I love taking candid B&W of People.

Wheat, as in the amber waves of grain?

Cultivation of wheat began to spread beyond the Fertile Crescent after about 8000 BCE. Jared Diamond traces the spread of cultivated emmer wheat starting in the Fertile Crescent sometime before 8800 BCE. Archaeological analysis of wild emmer indicates that it was first cultivated in the southern Levant with finds at Iran dating back as far as 9600 BCE.

LR5 has several new features, one of which is the radial filter that allows you to adjust different areas of your image separately. see the demo here: http://tv.adobe.com/watch/whats-new-in-lightroom-5/lightroom-5-radial-filter/
This feature alone made it worthwhile for me.
