Oh bless you Polly, try and focus on the positive, your heart is fine, just deal with the rest a day at a time. Hugs!! Xxxx

I’m so glad you sent me encouragement. It helps not feeling alone at these times. I saw my eye doctor who says I have dry eye which caused the lid to make the mess not an infection the family doctor said. I think I should see a thyroid specialist before committing to meds my whole life. I was going to ask family doctor if I could try eating foods that help thyroid but friend says that doesn’t help and doctor never called me back. I know he is busy so I’m ok with that.

Good news your heart is working fine. A medication can be given to bring thyroid numbers to normal for a underactive thyroid.
Take care dear, and try to not make yourself a wreck.

I do get upset especially when this was out of the blue. Problem with the meds is it can cause fast heart beat. A rare difficulty but since I have had my heart shocked due to aphib and am taking daily meds to regulate heart beat I’m concerned about that. If it can happen it usually happens to me.

That's great that your heart is ok. The thyroid and the infection can be taken care of easily with medication. Especially since you are seeing the doctors about them right away.
Is it time to order some protective goggles?

Turned out the eye doctor says it’s dry eye damaged by lid rubbing not infection. Glad the pharmacy didn’t have the meds family doctor sent for infection. She says I have cataracts but I’m not calm enough right now to consider it. Mammogram next on my to do list.

It's great that you have the confidence to do that. And can see where the pattern is supposed to go.
Some of the people at my LYS have been knitting for years and will still only follow patterns with the exact yarn (even the same colour) so the pattern turns out like the picture. They really can't imagine it any other way.

When I was in an art class my friend never did a thing the way the instructor said. Hers were always better.

Good morning all from a cloudy but dry Norfolk. Wondering what to do today, ironing and housework keep coming into my mind but send them out straight away, will probably pick up the knitting instead. Have a good day whatever comes your way and stay safe. xx

Good morning from rainy Surrey. The garden smells gorgeous. Picked LM up from school yesterday, she is getting so grown up. Had a lovely chat on the way back.

Today I will plant up my hanging baskets and sew some more seeds.

Happy Thursday everyone and stay safe xxx

Over the counter drops for dry eye (not red eye) are very helpful to me. Did dr. tell you to use drops? A large percentage of people have dry eye whether they know it or not.
A thyroid diet is healthy. It may help. Have you searched online to see what foods are suggested for hypothyroidism?
