Model Mayhem works for me. Start with a free account. You can do a radius in your area and contact models you are interested in.

I think so too, but I didn't want to get into that debate.

This is all part of the Olympus plan. I bought into Olympus recently after the Nikon Camera, I moved to the EM10 and EM5 when transitioning to mirrorless. I have not been disappointed. The Micro four thirds lens system is interchangeable with other brands. They have great lenses at a lower price and there is no perceptable difference in the photos from the APS-C sensors with a major change in weight and size. See more here. https://www.dpreview.com/news/7896781388/olympus-is-now-om-system-and-has-a-new-micro-four-thirds-camera-on-the-way you may also become a fan.

We are all in photography to create what we like. We try to create something that captures the heart of our friends. Put out what looks good to you. Everyone perceives beauty differently. We all have the freedom to create what we like. Show what looks best.

I am finding that my orders at B and H and other photo stores are waiting at the store for 4 days or more before shipping. The must be keeping lower inventories or have changed their policy lately. It is disappointing because I love the knowledge but I am not getting the product when I need it. I just ordered a gorilla tripod for a camping trip and it went 5 days before they shipped it then another two before I receive it. Too long.

I just took a 4 hour lens course and realized I don't need anymore lenses. If I had a special need for lenses that work in high dust conditions like motocross I might go for a pro series lens, but under normal atmospheric and lighting conditions the middle of the road lens gets the job done. The expensive ones make me feel better until the next hot lens comes out. Lately not enough to make me buy a new toy.

Different Strokes for different folks. Some people get joy out of buying the best. Others get joy out of saving money and getting similar results. Either way works for different photographers. There is no right and wrong here.

I love my d7500. Two drawbacks. No depth of field button and one card slot. (SD) other than that it's a great camera.

Zno.com makes the best quality books I've seen. You can choose from many styles with thick pages. Excellent color reproduction too.

I almost died from Covid and since then I want to capture more beauty. There are plenty of pristine scenes due to less people outside. I have taken more still life indoors. Let the new environment guide your creativity so your production won't dwindle. Get creative with what you have.

I have used many of their product but never had an issue that required customer service. I would imagine it's not their strong point. My experience has been for lower cost buy from companies like neewer through Amazon but for service B and H I
Goes above and beyond for a few dollars more

The d7500 doesn't have a grip that allows you to control shutter speed or aperture. It is one of the frustrating things about Nikon's choice not to create one for the D7500 to my lamentation. The generic designs only hold one battery and require a cable to go from the grip to the adapter. The only advantage you get is a larger camera with a button for portraits. I wanted a solid integration for the camera and couldn't find one.

Tethering is available in lightroom classic. Not Lightroom CC. connect your camera with a usb cord to your PC. From Lightroom Classic you go to File/tethered capture/ Start Tethered capture and you will see a bar show up at the bottom of your screen with a control for your camera. You may use that or shoot from your camera. That's what you need to know. Enjoy.

Well looking for something to do in this Covid/no wedding senario . Anybody tried it ?

I posted about 1,000 pics to 8 microstock sites. It has taken probably over 100 hours I have grossed about $140 over the last year. You wont get rich on it but it could pay for a lens. I get a kick out of selling online but most of my money comes from selling photography services, not stock photos.
