Super Shots. Eagles are fun to capture in action.

Aa of today here in Central NY the syracuse area the forecast changed from partly cloudy to mostly cloudy at eclipse start time and by the end total clouds. I saw the 2017 so I am going to take a chance and stay local I am 8 mikes from totality my house is 99.78% so.i am going to play it by ear if I go.north or west. The far north Plattsburgh area and northern VT, NH and Maine are looking good

I am going to Ellisburg, NY on the eastern shore of Lake Ontario. I can stand at the water's edge or be back 1/2 mike on a tower that is on a Hill at the top of the "Lake View Marsh Game management area." the total elevation above the lakes surface is about 150 feet. You can see Oswego from the top. The power plants at "9 mile" point have very tall cooling towers.

Took a chance in the rain-heavy at times-and hoped for a few good shots. While standing in the rain, I heard the distinctive squawk of a Canada Goose coming in. Managed a few on the wing shots. Note the rain drops evident in the images-around th goose and on the water. I also photographed a set-to that occurred when my photo subject tried to land on a goose setting.

Z9, 500pF.

Download and enjoy!

Excellent photos you have a lot of patience to get the landing shot and not spook the bird!

Wonderful exhibit much to see children’s area as well. We spent about 2 1/2 hours there could spend the day and not see you at all.

Everything is made of flowers growing around metal frames, very clever art work.

All photos done with my iPhone 13 Pro-Max

Thanks for looking and commenting. The fox was supposed to be a coyote made with Generative Fill. Then I moved it a little bit so the Generative Fill background didn't match.

I don't know enough about Photoshop and Lightroom to even begin a project like this. Congratulations, well done gives me motive to keep trying.

I’m very interested in your itinerary, I have been to Maine once about 35 years ago.
Drove my dad’s 35’
Diesel pusher class A motorhome took our two kids ages of 4 and six
We camped at Arcadia national park Cadillac Mountain
The drive down off the mountain was nerve wracking as I could look straight down over the mountain edge

I have a return trip on my bucket list as I have a travel trailer to use
