Maybe. The NY weather guy says upper NY, Maine looks good & thought Texas had a pretty good chance of clearing up but... that was a couple of days ago. Good luck.

Aa of today here in Central NY the syracuse area the forecast changed from partly cloudy to mostly cloudy at eclipse start time and by the end total clouds. I saw the 2017 so I am going to take a chance and stay local I am 8 mikes from totality my house is 99.78% so.i am going to play it by ear if I go.north or west. The far north Plattsburgh area and northern VT, NH and Maine are looking good

I am going to Ellisburg, NY on the eastern shore of Lake Ontario. I can stand at the water's edge or be back 1/2 mike on a tower that is on a Hill at the top of the "Lake View Marsh Game management area." the total elevation above the lakes surface is about 150 feet. You can see Oswego from the top. The power plants at "9 mile" point have very tall cooling towers.
