I offered these lenses for sale earlier in the week. I've had two esteemed UHH members ask me why so expensive? As I stated in the ad these are all like new. The Canon RF 70-200 f/2.8 L IS USM, for example cost me $2976, new from B&H. In "like new" (as is mine) condition, from MPB, this lens is selling for $2399. MPB offered me $1700. So, I figured a fair price would be $1950... and that's still $700 cheaper than MPB for the same lens and condition. And I'm paying for the postage and insurance. How low should I go?
If you're interested check these prices against MPB. You can find all of these cheaper on ebay, but are they all this nice? Do they have the original packaging? Clean glass? Lens covers? No scratches or marks of any kind?

I don't known if you are ask the right price for your camera. If people don't like your price, tell them to move on.

I have used Mark Hama to service several Yashica rangefinder and TLR cameras with excellent results. He is sometimes pretty slow in getting the service done, which may be due to his searching for or fabricating parts. It’s been awhile since I have used his services so Google him and give him a call or email him to see if he is still active. There is also Camera Service Pro in Atlanta ( https://www.cameraservicepro.com/) that services Yashica film cameras.

Mark Hama is the person to go to for Yashica's cameras repair. He fix my Yashica IC Lynx 14E.

What in hell are you doing with $2976 lens in the first place. If you just got the lens last year, no way are you going to get full value. Put the lens away for about 10 years to get back full vaule.

Skip the welders glass and just buy an actual solar filter. You can buy filters for $20 to $30 and you don't have to worry about it.

The welders glass cost $3.45 vs. $20 to $30 for solar filter that I will be using just one hour. By the way I put my camera on manual today and everything came out fine. Have pictures of the sun. Thank every one for getting back to me.

This afternoon I tested my camera for the solar eclipse in April. The camera is a Fujifilm's Finepix S and a KT Industries Welding Plate Shade 10. Put the weld plate in front of the camera lens and the camera would not work. The weld plate cut off ALL light to the camera. I had the camera aim at the sun. Clear afternoon here in Northern New York. I remove the weld plate and the camera was working fine. Have read that some people have said use a weld plate at shade 13 or 14. 13 or 14? Ok, people what should be done?

I guess you think what you consider a "trashy camera" deserves a "trashy remark". And for that task, you're the best.

I have a Minolta XG-M camera. I have been looking on the internet to find what years this camera was made. 1977 to 1982 or was it made just the one year 1981-1982? Thank you.

I am thinking of getting back into film photography as something to supplement my digital photography. So many cameras I couldn't afford back in the day, and now at reasonable prices, too! I would like advice on good-quality film cameras that won't break the bank. There are lots on the market, but a camera that has a bright, split image focusing screen would be a plus. What say, camera experts?
Thanx!

Ask about film camera are you now? Herte is a list of film cameras from my collection. That I have tested and use over the years: Yashica FX-3 Super 2000// Yashica GSN. Great camera to have and use.// Canon A-1. To me this camera is better than Canon AE-1.// Pentax K-1000. If I only could own one film camera The Pentax K- 1000 would be it. Also the Pentax ME Super is also a very good camera. I do have a Nikon EM, the only reason I have it is because of the lenses that came with the camera. The lenses are: Nikkor 50mm 1:1.4 and a 24mm Nikon lens. To me Nikon cameras are over rated and have been for years. Minolta's cameras yes and no. Forget about Olympus's cameras. All the camera listedyou can fine for under a $125.00. So off you go to find a nice 35mm film camera.

I shot the second image while sitting in a booth in the diner. Somewhere within a half mile or so someone is about to receive breakfast. Many of us here in the city have kitchens that are only large enough for 3/4 of a person, so the takeout business thrives.
The owner of the restaurant has told me he would hire as many of these immigrants who want to work for him. They are reliable, grateful and willing to work in all types of weather. He thinks many or most tend to send part of what they make back to their families.

To me a simple camera is a Fujifilm Finepix S. I use it all the time with no problems. Cost would be about $75.00 for one on E-Bay. Some one wrote that $600.00 for a simple camera. He must have more money than brains. If you want to use a film camera I may be able to help you out.

Last week I check out all my cameras to see that their are still working. That 22 35mm film cameras. Also last week I found a Kodak Relex Camera, I check it out and every thing works on the camera. Not bad for a $ 10.00 camera and one that was made some time between 1946 and 1948. Come spring I will test the camera with film, by the way the film for this camera is 620 film.

Smart move. NEVER Plugged in a old radio with out having it check out first. Some years ago a friend of my plugged in a old radio. The radio exploded, he end up with burns on his face which left bad burns marks on his face.
If the radio has a AC plug, the radio was make after the 1920s. Did any one look inside the radio? Look up the web site "Radio Attic" may find a picture of that radio. To me the radio look like it was made in the 1930s. You may have a real fine in that radio.
