my 800 is 1100 mi away but look for settings and you may have to navigate to your chosen folder to save it - also when scanning usually previous settings are retained - by now there must be updated free software from epson

i agree with the wrenches - i had a stuck filter and started to panic - then went through all of the incidentals i ordered from B&H before the trip -found the wrenches and vola - worked like a champ !

quality is not affected by type of connectivity, just speed. I have switched to wireless with my Hp400 because of the Airprint feature which allows direct printing from iphone or any other wireless source and without needing to set up sharing . Speed seems still reasonable.

have you turned off your laptop and printer and rebooted your router and then turned your devices back on - you should then be able to find the printer in devices and printers
