My goodness that brings back a lot of memories. Someplace in this house are photos from lots of races and several different venues. That was a long time ago.

What I like in your beach photo is that there aren't all those tourists. And, the lights are on in the beach house. Good shot.

I grew up in the midwest and never really appreciated the old farms. Always like a photo of an old house or barn or the weather.

You know, it seems like many states don't get enough credit for having great places to visit and wonder and photograph. I grew up in Illinois and you'd think it was desolate. Not so. Same for Missouri. I'm thinkin' Ozarks and the big rivers, cave country, lots of scenery for those who wish to see it.

I'm inclined to say it's Linn Cove, also. Now is the time to come on down to western NC or eastern TN and enjoy the view. (blatant commercials notwithstanding!!!) 
The Blue Ridge Parkway is a great place for photography and just getting away from all this other mess.

Been to the UP a few times, myself. That's just another one of those great places a person ought to visit.
