Having no clue what I was doing, I’ll count this photo as a win. I have a ton more to edit, but loved this one and wanted to share.
You did very well with this one...
placement of head with mountains behind is an excellent, lovely portrait
Excellent portrait, but it needs some cropping. Great capture and rendering. Please stay well and keep on sharing the great work.

I like it, but the guard rail us distracting.
Did you cut and paste her into the scene? Something doesn't look right.

Nope, sure didn’t. We hiked up a portion of the beartooth highway that is closed for the season to vehicles.
Beautiful, but why not portrait orientation? Seems like too much space on each side of her, and guard rail is distracting. She is beautiful!
I'm in agreement with mnbushopper.
Another one that suggests portrait orientation. You want to bring attention to the subject, the background cannot be distracting. The rail for sure is distracting.
Something else, in my humble opinion there is too much brightness surrounding the model to the point that her dress gets lost in such brightness. I understand that a high key shot simulates this if that is what the photographer wants.
It is a good start since you have no experience with portraits. If you are interested in portraits you will find lots of useful information in You Tube.
Great portrait shot of a beautiful young lady. Nothing is distracting, everything leads to her face, perfect shot.
"A tragedy waiting to happen".
I can't help thinking that a car might come hurtling up the road behind her.
Unless you wanted to create a feeling of angst, needs a more appropriate back drop imho; otherwise, well done.
