Have you considered sending individual files or a folder of files as a "zipped" file?

I am using a 2020 Lenovo Legion Y540 15.6 Inch FHD IPS Gaming Laptop (9th Gen Intel 6-Core i7-9750H up to 4.5 GHz, 32GB RAM, 1TB PCIe SSD + 1TB HDD, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti. This is an excellent laptop that meets all of the photo processing demands. I paid about $1400.00 for it and don’t regret the purchase. So, the tower you're considering should make you happy.

Find a used 12mp to 30mp for $25 to $50 on eBay. If she like shooting, look into a better camera.

I originally disparaged my new Panasonic Lumix DC-ZS70 for poor quality photographs. I purchased the ZS70 because I wanted a simple, carry along camera for walkabouts, etc. since my other camera were too heavy and bulky. The pictures were less than satisfactory, given the lens and design of the camera.
I set and reset to no avail, but every once in a while, I’d try a shot under different circumstances, but with the same results.
Yesterday, I charged the battery, formatted the card and took the camera outside for a shot of my car after detailing it. Nothing was changed, but the picture came out great in RAW and JPEG. I put the camera away for the day. Today, I took the camera outside and took a few shots, came back inside and took a few shots. All of the photos are very nice. Aside from operator error, would it seem likely that something was originally amiss that corrected itself with use? Or, should I just shut up and be glad that the camera is working as I had originally expected?

You've spent a lot of money on some great equipment, but it's cold and wet and you are till waiting for the perfect shot. Quickly, it happens and you take your best shot as the sun slips behind a cloud. The moment's gone, but you got your shot. Now you get home, check the histogram and wish you could adjust it just a little. t dawns on you that you have some software that will do the trick, but you must be honest and just use the shot as you took it! NOT! You do what you have to do to come up with the best you can do and you thank the nameless soul that coded that software.

This happens more often than you might think. Closing the barn door after the horse has escaped. but Fedex , UPS and other carriers typically have alternate sites for package pickup. For expensive items, I always log onto the carrier and schedule the delivery for pickup at one of their alternate sites. For less expensive items, I allow their delivery to my doorstep and argue with them when an item is not delivered to me. Sometimes my neighbors and I swap miss deliveries. Good luck with Fedex.

At on time I was using Wondershare Collage Maker to put numerous pictures together for a collage. With all the computer upgrades Wondershare no longer works on my computer.
Does anyone have any suggestions of a, preferably, free collage software that can be used?
Thanks

I use AMS Photo Collage Maker. Not free, about $30USD, but a terrific program. You can download a free trial at https://ams-collage.com/

[quote=Opusx300]Happy 4th of July weekend to all.

My favorite L series lens is my Canon 24-70mm-f2.8L-II-USM. Photograph quality is as good as a prime lens. If the 24-105 had the same quality, I'd be shooting it for the longer reach, but alas. I also have four other L series lens. They are all worth the cost.

Why do we criticize those who post process?
In the old days, we post processed film and paper to our hearts content.
We burned, dodged, reformulated our developers to suit our expected outcomes, heated or cooled our chemicals, hand rubbed the paper during development to bring out highlights, put our beer down in the darkroom, then reached for it, only to find that we had picked up the container of Fix. Terrible taste, but you know it as soon as it passes the nose, so you didn’t poison yourself. There were so many tricks and remedies, twists and turns in the old days, so what’s new?

Plan plan, plan! Recruit an assistant to help with setting up the shots and posing subjects and thoroughly discuss your plans for the shoot with the assistant. Discuss the planned pictures with both the bride and groom and reach an agreement on what they really want and what you can provide. Do they want you to shoot the wedding and give them pictures or do they want you to shoot the wedding, let them select from proofs, then put a wedding album together for them. Discuss portrait sizes too.

I have the Canon EF100mm f/2.8L MACRO IS USM lens that is wonderful as a macro lens, but does beautiful portrait work. With the 100mm focal length, facial perspectives are spot on.
