The most annoying change in common speech today is “ he or she said” changing to “ he goes or she goes”. IMHO. That grates in my ears.

I buy Moxie when I visit The Vermont Country Store every fall for apple picking. They always have it so it still manufactured. It is sweeter and less bitter than it was when I was growing up. Check with the manufacturer to see where it is sold.

I’ve been to most of the National Parks and this one is my favorite. It has a spiritual feel about it that is best experienced by walking across the valley floor or taking a jeep tour.

Nice ones. A 1951 model myself. 👍

1951 was my year to grow up and fall in love. My family were Nash enthusiasts. They were very innovative and often ahead of the competition. Unfortunately Nashes are rarely seen in auto shows.

Elemental mercury's been outlawed in most states. It's one of the most potent heavy metals causing brain, nerve and organ damage and it's easily absorbed as vapor or through the skin. Such neurological damage may have already taken place with this guy as he wears no mask or respirator and admitted the mercury got into the gloves yet he's a happy as a little kid, doing this.

As a young child we rubbed mercury on coins to make them shine. As a young teen I had my own lab and I once distilled mercury with chlorine gas from bleach and created mercuric chloride (Corrosive Sublimate). As a young man I became a Dentist and used mercury every day to make amalgam fillings. In the early years we squeezed out the excess mercury with a squeeze cloth and shook it out on the carpet. I used amalgam for my entire career of 57 years and now at age 88 I am in good health and look more like 70. Fear of mercury has been greatly exaggerated.

When we get through blighting the landscape with windmills and solar panels that will never produce enough energy for our demands we will be left with the only one clean air source of power:atomic power plants.

I needed the same device. I tried Photostick and it works. Found everything including lots of pictures you don’t need. After that you can copy new photos on flash drives yourself.

Everyone has forgotten the oldest camera store in Boston. Since at least the 1940’s all Boston suburbs traveled to Bromfield St. in downtown Boston to buy from several camera specialties stores. Now there is only one left. Tiny Bromfield Camera.

Some years ago Consumers Report tested 60+ beers. Guess which one came in dead last? I was in complete agreement.

I purchased Proshow Gold on its last day but never seemed to get anywhere with it. Can it still work or did it become inoperable when the company closed?

Guns are blued or browned with acids to cause a rust coating to protect them from further rust damage.
I never had the opportunity to look up a chimney but have seen Venus on clear sunny days. You must know the exact place to look so you can place your most light sensitive part of your retina (fovea centralis) exactly on the planet.

Only idiots buy and drink 'bottled water anyhow.

Do you realize that tap water costs about 8 cents a gallon? This is the biggest ripoff in history! You also get contamination from the plastic and huge amounts of plastic bottle waste. Why are we being so stupid!

They seek out every photo in your computer even those you didn’t even know you had. Otherwise it’s easy to copy those photos to other flashdrives and give them as gifts to other members of your family. I gave them to my children along with a viewer that turns on when they enter the room and off when they leave. Finally everyone gets to see your photos.🤓
