This is a simple one I would appreciate having cleared up.
I have purchased 2 Sandisk Ultra microSDHC cards, 32G each.
I understand that I need to format the cards in-camera (not the legal term!).

Now, I have 2 cameras.
When I format Card 1 in my 5D, does that card need to remain with the 5D
OR
will it be interchangeable with Card 2 which I will format in my 7D?
Do the cards have to remain with the camera they were formatted in (they are backup cards)
Thank you.

on eBay. There are similar items for croquet mallet carry case. Field Hockey stick case might work also.

What about (say) a croquet mallet bag $55 or so? Wider at one end for the mallet head and so would take the ballhead. Any sporting stick bag maybe? Hockey, lacrosse.

i get Outdoor Photography via Zinio and Landscape Photographer direct download. I get most of my dozen magazines each month via Zinio. Two I get from Issuu.
I also get Arizona Highways as a quasi-photograhy mag.

Just adding my 2c worth to this topic.
I was using my 5dMkIV with my Canon 28-300 EF out on a river recently. Because of the contrast between sky and water, I had on a OEC Graduated ND Grey.
My camera refused to AF - hunted back and forth constantly. Took the filter off and it was fine.
Tried this again a couple of weeks later - over the ocean with the beach sand bright and the sky even brighter. Same result.
Tried a third time in a mangrove swamp (the southernmost mangroves in the world) and with the water and sky somewhat matched, no problem with the AF.
Filter appears completely clean i.e. no spots to fool it.
Not sure what to replace it with but I need to do something - the light in Western Australia is pretty harsh.

We have none in Western Australia. Every one that tries to cross the border from South Australia gets hunted down and shot by the Agriculture Protection Board sharpshooters.

I think you've hit the nail on the head there. The vast majority of political or social commentary, including travel, cooking etc consists of a full-face of the presenter video. I don't care for it and click off immediately.

Nice photos, particularly the Eiffel Tower.
In case you're thinking of entering it in any competitions, you should be aware that images of the tower AT NIGHT are copyright, though images during the day are not. Just so you don't get tripped up.

BTW, I believe that those updates are meant to disable 3rd party cartridges.

It's a cat and mouse game, each time some manufacturer finds a way to shunt the printer detention scheme, Epson updates the chips in the cartridges, and some time later updates the firmware to enforce to only accept those.

True that. Which is why they keep on a'tryin and I keep on avoidin. 😊

On my way down the Atlantic ICW a few years back I stopped in the Daytona civil marina. I had a powerboat alongside me and heard the radio playing an Australian radio ststion. Puzzled me so I asked my neighbour why. We got to talking over the next week and it turned out he was a helo rescue pilot in Vietnam. He himself got shot down twice, losing his helo both times.
When his time was up, he didn't want to face the reception he knew he would get so he came here and lived in Oz for 10 years, which is why he was playing that station. Although he had an apartment in Daytona, he preferred to live on his boat. It was a very nice boat if you are inclined to launches/trawlers (mine was a sailboat). He was a very nice man and a fine aviator.

I haven't updated my printer in the two years I've been back home. Epson knows this and I get constant nags to install updates. Never, ever do this if you are using 3rd party. I found this out from a 3rd party supplier, hidden away down in his product description.
I always decline the nag and so far, so good. I did have glitch recently where it wouldn't recognise a cartridge but after several restarts, removals and re-insertions they eventually worked.
Not having the "latest update" means zilch on a $60 printer.

I have done the drive from Kingman to the canyon in a hire car with our kids and also have been on a Maverick's helo tour. The helo was good for a layout idea but I think what Stardust says is likely to be more rewarding. My M-i-L use to live out of Kingman so I've been to Vegas many many times and if I went back, I'd do what he says. Just as a side note, Williams has the best pie shop in the world (so they say) which is well worth a visit provided your cardiologist is not informed.

Yours sounds more like zebra stripes.

Zebra stripes is what it is. I listened to the narrative but didn't wholly understand. I'll run through it again. Thank you.
