Most "leaf peepers" get out and about in the autumn but springtime is just as colorful. The colors may not be quite as vibrant, more on the pastel side, but in some ways I think the spring palette has a wider selection of colors. Just the range of greens is worth looking at, from pale yellow-green to the deep-greens of pines. Plus there are reds, purples, whites, and even pinks, colors you won't see in the fall.
I've attached a few photos that were taken on May 7th when the real peak of colors had already passed.

I favor Yandex, the Russian alternative to Google. Their 'Yandex Disc' cloud storage is much quicker and easier than Google or Drop Box. All you have to do is set up an e-mail account with Yandex.com and send a large file to your old e-mail and things proceed pretty much automatically.

My Jack Russell terrier gets at least one a year that isn't quite fast enough ducking back down a storm drain.

Two meteors, your shutter speed was too fast to be anything but.

I use a Sony action cam, XFDR-3000, if you let it, it puts a GPS map in the corner of everything.

You may need to get a video editor that can do chroma-key. I use Shotcut, it's free with good tutorials.

Video editors can do that. I just started using 'Shotcut' and 'Openshot' which are free and have good tutorials.

They look like ink and watercolor but no human could achieve that level of detail. I wish you would expound on the process.

If you're using a steady cam or shoulder cam I'd go with adapting a speaker stand or something similar. I've got a musician background so mic stands and speaker stands are at hand. Speaker stands are built for up to 100lbs and adapters for the pole end are readily available. https://www.parts-express.com/peavey-sa-3-tripod-speaker-stand-socket-1-3-8--248-8606

I use microphone stands. I can go from floor level to almost eight feet high if I use a boom stand. Most of them have 5/8-27 threads but lot of them have 3/8-16 threaded ends on them that are easy to add an adapter to 1/4-20 and then also add a swivel. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B5A35JW/

If I wanted to use a heavy camera I'd think about using speaker stands that adjust out to 4+ foot diameter. I mostly use straight stands but sometimes also boom stands for putting a camera unobtrusively over a work surface. When I do that I have to really reef on the boom arm adjustment screws. If mobility were an issue I'd put a mic stand on a potted-plant dolly.

I feed my audio through a Tascam DR-08 recorder and from there into the camera. That gives me both possibilities for sound editing. My camera has a built-in compression algorithm that sometimes I'm not particularly fond of. I've used the mics on the Tascam but prefer external mics.

Now I need to get out of tinkering mode and get out there to take some real video.

I'm using +/- 18V for the circuit and it's still within spec.
