Alexa has a simple naturalness about her that you are capturing. Hope you two continue to work together... and post.

You both did well here in the learning progress together. The window shot is dramatic.

Excellent but in my humble opinion if there was a hint of lighting on her left leg to simply outline it versus the current void of blackness in the middle of the photo it would have been Perfecton.

I think their is also another important reason the switch from dominant horizontal to vertical is happening is because of the way we operated "real" cameras in the past and how we viewed photos. My first camera as most were set up to take horizontal photos. It did not seem natural to use vertical and once a flash was attached it changed the shadows to the right or left versus down & behind. When digital came along, we started viewing on computer screens, probably 99+% horizontal oriented so same photos filled the screen. Today my priority viewing is on my phone so vertical fills the screen without rotation. It is beginning to seem natural.

Sell your equipment, consider a Samsung S23 Ultra cell phone. Five lens, big bright screen, plenty of memory, lots of controls if you wish, great pictures, decent PP tools, can load directly to Facebook or other social media and it even has phone calls, emails & text messages built in. For first time ever in 60 years, I used as my primary camera on 5 country trip last month, my now back-up camera stayed in locked up safe.

This one is easy. You just mirror the image and the trees will be on the back side of the bridge.

I too vote for traditional flash unit, either bounced or with diffuser most come with today. I am not a fan of the circular catch light that ring lights do on eyes. Better to light when subject is not looking directly at the lens.

What are you talking about??????? I for one, have not seen ANY "snapshots" posted here! What you are seeing are, lighted, posed studio shots, as opposed to outdoor, posed natural light shots. If you are such a GREAT critic of what is a snapshot and what is not, why don't you post some of your work!!!
Studio or outdoors makes no difference on whether quality photos or not - just different genres - but if you don't think any snapshots have been posted here, well you apparently are a GREAT "critic" as long as it has bare boobs. Where are your postings in this section?

My photography/videography these days is mainly travel, I haven't shot nudes for over 50 years, so kind of hard to post here.

... If this communicates too much thought to you, let me just sum it up by saying that most video today is really pretty bad. The quality bar is set pretty low for pictures that move.

Think the same can be said for still photos too, rare to see anything beyond mediocrity anymore.

I take lots of photos & video clips in my traveling (that I later combine with text & music in Pwr Director). Was so happy when I could combine shooting into one camera. On travels don't always have time to switch cameras, get off standby, etc. Now its just push the red button instead of shutter one.

BTW, if next generation of phones advance pass my Samsung S23 Ultra, besides leaving video camera home may leave my DSLR too.

Good for you. When unfamiliar with an area I always like to look at multiple sources. Usually the overlaps are the best choices.

I haven't been there for years but although tripods were allowed I saw very few. To walk the planes, maneuver in & out of good spots on the fence, etc my believe there are times & places for tripods and times & places not for them. This is a NOT. Maybe a monopod, especially if you physically need it for stability.
