I was in a local camera store yesterday looking at used DSLR lenses. I asked the clerk if there were a lot of lenses available for sale because people are switching to mirrorless cameras. The clerk's answer surprised me. He said that with an adapter, the DSLR lenses are faster and were being kept for use on the mirrorless cameras.
I'm looking forward to what others have to say about this.

I would sure like to know the answer to this question. I carry two cameras, one for telephoto and another for a closer range wider angel. I photograph racing sailboats.

I purchased Lightroom 5 when it was the current version. I've used it on three or four different computers over time. It does the job. I've upgraded my cameras from a Nikon d7200 to a Nikon d500. I think that I'll have to upgrade if I start shooting raw. I like the idea of owning the software. Do I understand that I can buy Photoshop Elements?

I make calendars annually for two different one-design sailing groups. When I began, I used Vista Print and there were problems all the time and the price kept changing. I then found a local printer who does a beautiful job with my photos. It's a small shop and the work is done in-house. The price is much better than any of the online companies and I make a small profit from selling the calendars. My volume is 20 calendars for one group and 50 for another. So two different calendars. The sailors love seeing their boats on the calendar pages and often use them for gifts. If you can find a printer that works in-house, it's the way to go. There are not many of them left.

I care what the camera saw! I take pictures of racing sailboats and the action is fast. My camera and I are partners. I take aim and then depend on the camera's technology. My pictures are used to make 50 picture slide shows that are shown during the social events that take place after the racing. I use Lightroom to select the pictures and then for the pp which is minimal. The sailors love seeing pictures of their boats in action.

If the photo needs more work than I can do in Lightroom, I don't use it.

Several years ago I stupidly put a $300 camera in my luggage for a flight from Ft. Myers to Boston. When I arrived at my destination the suitcase was missing. This suitcase was never found. It had to be somewhere, right? Lesson learned.

I take photos of racing sailboats. I often get splashed so use a clear glass filter. Keeping it clean is a challenge but have discovered Zeiss Lens Cleaning Wipes. Problem solved. I have found that photos without the filter are sharper. If I'm using a lens hood, I don't use the filter. It all depends...
You can purchase the wipes at Walmart in the optical department. $5.00 for 100 wipes. Hope this helps.

That is exactly my conclusion. I'm going to switch to a FF camera for some of my photography.
