Get a loud voice or a megaphone. Make a shoulder sling from two straps so you can carry two cameras and lift them to your eye without disconnecting from the sling. I use a FF Nikon with 14mm and another with 28-300.
Set camera to 2fps and take two of each to avoid blinkers and tongue twitchers.
Build up a group and then finish with it and do another dont run people back and forth. Dress like a professional DJ bow tie and be commanding. You say when they throw confetti.
I carry a list of the main peoples names ..start with the brides lot and call out the names to build the group. Then the groom, then friends then take them away for the arty stuff. Always keep the bride on the grooms left arm that way the rings are visible.
Nikon goes auto to 4x iso when flash comes on ..I set to 200 which becomes 800 with the flash and balances the ambient and flash. Set camera to f8 auto iso etc and tape up the dials so they dont get knocked.
Dont let anybody fack you about you are the boss.
Awaiting for the delivery of my new Z camera and FTZ but want to use my Tamron 100-400. Currently, it has data in it from the Tap in console ( the figures are wild, 0 to +12 thro the zoom range) so do I use it at zero or leave the settings in or does it not matter? I would prefer data to stay in the lens so I can use it with other F mount cameras.
The component that deteriorates is the electrolytic capacitors on the circuit board ..life 20-=25 yeas. some older cars are having these replaced in there ECUs
If that flash was on a D850 or similar the iso would go to 4x the base iso as soon as you turn the flash on. I use base iso 200 giving iso to 800 and shoot at f5.6 with the 14-xx lens Make sure the flash programme is on FP 250 or whatever is highest. Point the flash directly at the subject. Remember a flash photo has two light sources, the ambient and the flash, you don't want the flash to overpower the ambient. Test and compensate with + or - before you go . Never had a problem at hundreds of weddings. I only use a SB400 for even the biggest venues.
If you use the built in fine tune ability of the D850 you can get all the figures needed in about 20 min.
The figures for the D850 will be fine on the D7200
Nikon 50mm F1.8 pancake ....its manual
Over priced ..yes thats 5 cameras at $15000 + flash etc , Vehicle ,advertising insurance ,Photoshop,Zenfolio and Lightroom + abouit 24 hrs labour ....Yes of course I can do it for $250...... Idiots
Black and white bridal photo with a coloured bouquet.
Dont ever use Auto ...that will lock all the things you can change out
You main problem is your camera does no have fine focus adjust so I would be surprised if all your images dont show front or back focus. Get as a minimum a D7100 and a Nikon 200-500.Have you checked in picture control if you have the sharpness at +9 ?? Anything less looks soft.
Go with Goddox avoid Yongnuo
Nikon gear is a forum of Scandinavian tech geeks ... nikonggear.net who are good at modifying lenses.
They are bad at making it clear which of the members is selling the chips. for how much and availability.
I think if you go to the top of the moderator tree and talk to the "bear of the north" you will get there.
Well I said, Geeks.
PS just had a load of replies on the NG site its " the less fierce bear of the north" Birna Rorslett you want.
You can get it to work if you change the chip for one from Andrey Kuryanov in the Ukrane ( no problem for me ) Its item 283766314302 on ebay but you do need a little skill to do the job.
Many thanks for your help
Do you both have the same firmware on your Z6 as your friend. It is possible to buy a updated chip from Ukrane but at present I dont have a Z camera. To get my lens to work would be a big plus .
