is he a Walker or a Blue Tick? Fine looking hound. I never met one with a bad personality.

I can highly recommend Ink Owl , I have a Canon ProGraf 24 inch that uses 12 carts and after the test carts ran out I have used Ink Owl for the past 3 years with no issues ans I can't tell the difference in color, give them a try.

I have a Tamron 150-600 G2 that I updated to use on a Z6 and it works fine, auto focus and all and yes you need a tap in console, I borrowed one from a friend.

I bought this one in 2016 and still use it, it does what I need for wildlife photos. I paid less than $100 for it new. used it with a nikon d750 and a tamron 150-600.

I have a Rokinon 8mm for a Nikon aps-c and last year I bought one for my Olympus EM 1 Mark ll, both are F/3.5 I believe. As someone else said, set it at infinity and F/8 and it will produce beautiful sharp photos. It's a fun lens.

I am using Mint 17.3 and Raw Therapee and it works fine. You may also want to try Light Zone, you can install camera profiles in it.

I have an Olympus EM1 Mark ll and the Olympus 12-100 F4 pro lens, and I can indeed take handheld shots down to 1/2 second or less using the IBIS and the lens VR together.

Or you could switch to an Olympus EM1 Markll that will adjust it in camera.

I have been a Linux user for nearly 30 years and my raw editor of choice is Raw Therapee, I tried Darktable for a while but thought Raw Therapee was more user friendly.

They were at a more important pro event, instead of a bike race. You don't need a pro level Olympus EM1 Mark ll shooting 18 fps to shoot a bike race.

I went from a Nikon D750 with a Tamron 150-600 G2 lens to the Olympus EM1 Mark ll and the Panasonic 100-400 a year ago, and I really enjoy getting out and shooting wildlife and BIF and landscape photos again. The size and weight of the equipment has my back and shoulders thanking me. The last software update was a great improvement to the CAF of the EM1 Mark ll. This is a fantastic camera, and the folks that are saying that yeah it's ok for this but it won't do this or that, have not had this camera in their hands. Olympus continues to listen to their users and continues to work on software updates to make this camera even better that it was from the beginning. If you are still on the fence, rent one and the 12-100 F4 lens and test drive it for a week or two, I dare you not to be impressed.

RawTherapee
http://rawtherapee.com/

Each is $10/month less expensive than the Adobe products

I second this, Raw Therapee is my go to for raw images and does a fantastic job, I have tried several of the paid programs and find they do no better than Raw Therapee and I always come back.

About a year ago, I went from a Nikon D750 to the EM-1 Mark ll. It is a fantastic camera and is now my go to for everything except very low light shooting. I also recently bought the 12-100 F4 pro lens to go with my Panasonic 100-400 for wildlife and birds and it is a tack sharp lens.. There are many youtube videos on line and as someone mentioned, the Tony Northrope one is a good one. Sit down in front of your computer with the camera in hand and follow along, pausing and re-playing as you need to until it becomes clear. The menu system can be a little over whelming, but will get easier as you practice. The EM-1 Mark ll is a great camera and you will grow to love it as you learn more about what it can do.

Another vote for raw therapee. I've tried ufraw several times, and can't figure out how to use it. Maybe it's just me.

same here on ufraw, I was only able to get washed out looking images. My next vote would go to Light Zone, or Darktable.
