Does anybody have a Pentax k-1 MK ii? How do you like it?
I’ve been a Pentax guy for years and want to stay true to the brand. I’ve read a lot of great reviews, but I’m curious about actual owner opinions. Thank you!

Well, I'm not a troll but a hobbyist. A couple of issues I need to be clear on. You have a good camera. If you buy another camera, now you will need to learn that camera and develop a new "muscle memory." That may be a substantial obstacle. I shoot Canon. The Nikon D850 USA nice machine. You could also look at the Canon 7D. I have a friend who loves his Sony. By the time this thread is finished it will be 25 pages later and you will have a boatload of suggestions which will only confuse you more. If your "joint" is working well, don't fuss with anything similar. IMHO!
Happy Shooting!

[quote=E.L.. Shapiro]Work backward from your professional needs. Booth Nikon and Canon provide a vast selection of lenses for your portrait and real estate work.

For your real estate interior and exterior photography, both brands have excellent wide-angle and perspective control lenses in a variety of focal lengths to...

So what are the specific "awesome" features that the 850 has that you want? When you have answered this your best bet is to look at the manufacturers websites and the specs of other cheaper models and see if they have similar "awesome" features that you would be happy with.

Or it maybe that you have done that already? If so do you have any specific questions you were unable to answer?

I’ve been comparing and contrasting for weeks. Just not sure what benefit(s) the full frame will afford me.

In my book any UHH member who is too lazy to do “minimal searching” qualifies as a TROLL. I’m not kind to them, either. Skipping to the next one as instructed. Regards, Ralph

Okay, this question has probably been asked a thousand times, so now 1001. And I’m sure I could find the answer on here with minimal searching but I’m asking again anyway. I’m not kind to trolls so please just skip to the next one if you aren’t friendly!
I’ve decided to move up in the world and say good-bye to my trusty Pentax, which has become an extension of my arm. I shoot portraits, real estate, classic cars, landscapes, etc and I make money doing it so I can justify spending or saving more and then spending. I’ve decided to go down the Canon or Nikon road; I’ve researched the D850 and it looks awesome. Is there an equally or slightly less awesome camera for a smaller budget? Please let me know if you have a D850 or different camera and what you think from your personal experience. Thanks for reading my long-ass question and for the (decent) responses I may get.

I’ve been a diehard Pentax shooter for a long time. Now it’s time to upgrade cameras and lens’. Here’s my question: Canon EOS 5d Mark IV or Nikon D850? Price difference for body aside, which do you like or not like, pros/cons to either? Thanks in advance to the decent folk for the non-troll answers!

Get the one that feels good in your hands. You cannot go wrong. My old Pentax K30 is all I need, despite the fact that I own 14 cameras. Nikon, Pentax, Canon are all good. Remember: You are buying into a system and will have to live with it. My all time favorite is a film camera, my Nikon FE2. As you get older, weight will be a factor, a very very important factor. Do your research!

Finally a fellow K-30 user!! I’m with you! And the poster: I too am looking for a new camera, soonish. My photography side hustle is finally starting to bring in the dough.

I can't imagine doing serious editing of pictures without a Wacom tablet. Been using the same one for over 15 years and it's still going strong. If you try a "search" on the subject at the top of the page you'll get a lot of information, pro and con, on tablets.

I have a Bamboo tablet, probably 6-7 years old. Seems a little hesitant when I use it though. Can you tell me how you use the tablet for editing? I mean, do you use it to outline in PS or in lieu of a mouse in LR?

Does anybody use a tablet for photo editing? Thoughts on that? I use PS and Lightroom (98% Lightroom) and am curious if I’m missing out by using my mouse only (albeit a pricey and very precise mouse). Oh and I edit on a MacBook Pro with second 27” 4K monitor. Thanks for any pros/cons or advice in advance.
