This seems to be the correct repair facility.

Jeff, I have a Nikon D80 that is getting the ERR message. Can you provide contact information that you mentioned of service that might be able to repair this camera? Thanks, Steve

Fun series. Maybe cause I just watched The Matrix 4, but that top picture has a Carrie-Ann Moss vibe to me. Really like the Holly work.

I had the same reaction; also in the second one as well.

I have been using the 28-300 as my go-to lens on my D610 for the past five years, it was purchased as and has been consistently used as such. Over the years I must admit to some mixed results where, on occasion, I have found my images to be a bit soft; however, I have had a fantastic range to work with and felt that cautious attention to focus point had a greater impact than any other factor. I have used the lens for landscape shots, for family gatherings, for grandsons sports (soccer & baseball), and for ski racing (shape enough to pick up on the individual chunks of snow rolling off the bottom of the skis) plus I have been able to supply friends with close-ups of their features while competing.
My sharpest lens, no; but, my most versatile lens, yes. It is always on my D610.

As an avid sailor and race officer for national one design competitions my advice is you really need to be on a chase boat to get the kinds of shots you’ll find in the yachting magazines. Preferably with a driver so you can shoot and have the driver position you to take the shots people will love. The classics shots will be at the windward mark approach with crew setting up for the spinnaker set, at the leeward mark where the spinnaker takedowns create a lot of excitement and be on the lookout for the close starboard/port tack crosssings. The 100/400 lens should be your choice on the water. Good luck!

As a former racing sailor and regatta organizer I was preparing to make basically the same comments as those above by Walkabout08. If you are limited to the committee boat you will miss most all of the action as you will only be in place for the starts and finishes while the major action will be occurring at the mark rounding's. Especially try to catch action, I have far too many photos of me idling between races, setting on my boat eating a sandwich between races, and shots from such a great distance that the only way you can tell it is me is by my sail number; get in tight and get the action.

A beautiful model in an interesting treatment. Like very much.
I most significantly like that the model is not covered with tattoos or piercings.

I am using the "G" version of this lens on my D610 and have found it to be excellent (in fact, as sharp in focus as Ken Rockwell indicates it to be) and most certainly a full frame lens. My general "walk around" lens is a 28-300 which I find to be all encompassing but a bit soft in its more extreme range. On a recent trip I changed out the 28-300 for the 18-35, upon editing those photos I found that some of the distant photos I had taken could be cropped (magnified) multiple times with no loss of clarity (in fact details I had missed in the original became very clear).

My original reason for purchasing this lens was because of its wide angle range to do photos of our beach condo, presentation to potential renters, I am finding greater and greater use of its upper range clarity/sharpness for general photos. Looking forward to doing more landscape work with it.

That does not surprise me, quixdraw, and is one of the reasons I love visiting Colorado and Oregon the most...so much diversity!

To amplify quixdraw's and your comments on Colorado; I spent a bit over a week last month in the Breckenridge, Leadville, Vail area with a trip to Rocky Mtn. Nat Park. So I could add yet a different perspective to the image of Colorado. You are most correct in that it is a most diverse and interesting state; wife and I spend each winter there in Summit County skiing, you should get the deep winter perspective also.

Thank you for sharing. Personally I love the older 35 mm cameras as they remind me of when I started with my dad's Petri 1.9 range finder. I learned a great deal from that camera and it got me started.

Very good pictures and a very cool dog. I hope my wife and I can find a rescue like that when we stop traveling so much (not fair to a dog to be left in a kennel so long and often).

It is worth note that not only is the Constitution a commissioned warship in the US Navy, it is the only currently commissioned warship to have fired upon and defeated an enemy vessel in battle.
I am greatly looking forward to getting to Boston to tour the Constitution once the Covid mess is settled.
Excellent photos.

Good photo and great choice in resorts. We have spent Jan, Feb, & part of Mar for the past 15 years (except the one just past) skiing in Summit County (Breck, Keystone, A-Basin, etc.). I selected the area for my after retirement winters while visiting most western resorts prior to retiring. Now we have many wonderful friendships in the area and greatly enjoy the skiing there, only down side is that some have difficulty with the altitude.
