I like both for different reasons. The one in color shows the old wagon wheel as it looks today and in the color we are accustomed to. The black and white tells us this is a photo of olden days-the wheel doesn't look as old because the photo is old.
Need a 375 H&H and a 270 Winchester also. Iron sights on the 375 and a scope on the 270.
Not just a beautiful photo, a real story of childhood and its innocence. Love it.
She's a beautiful puppy. I'll bet she has just as beautiful temperament.
I found the photos to be excellent in their context and in the detail of the hawk. Amazing that the hawk did not take its dinner and leave while you were taking the pictures.
Looks like some kind of moth. Been 65 years since I took a class in etymology so you are on your own. I'm pretty sure it's a moth. I'd start there.
Looked it up and it's an Evening Grosbeak. (According to National Geographic. It hangs out where the weather is cool. Comes a little south in the winter.
Most likely a fox. Mt lion ears are rounded and their nose is much flatter than this. Maybe it's a neighbor's dog. Great photo from a phone.
A very creative treatment of an ordinary subject. Well Done!
Didn't hear a thing. Very, very quiet.
Yep, mule deer. No question about it. Good composition, i like the way you set up the photo. No harm done-no theft if you left it where you found it.
