This "oil painted" photo gives the scene a mystical quality. Makes me wonder where this ship has been and where it might be going next and what are the hopes and dreams of the captain and crew who sailed this ship out on the open seas? Not bad for one photo. Thanks for sharing. Made me smile and dream this morning.

Awesome! A blow up print of this would look great in my place.

Wow! This is the first time I have viewed your work and I am simply blown. I guess there you could get to a point of overexposure to surfer shots but these are a delight. Thanks.

Strange. What model Mac did you upgrade. You can find that info under "About this Mac." Not the OS but the actual model. Some models had WiFi issues that I thought were resolved There were some issues with the 5k models.

Your upgrade possibilities depends upon the age and version of your machine. If your Mac is fairly Both run new you should experience few problems. Older programs may not run and you might need to install new drivers for your printers or other equipment. Some vendors may not have new drivers or versions of their programs to run in the new OS. I recently upgraded an older iMac to Yosemite which was as far as I could safely go according to my Mac service tech. I upgraded my Mac Air to Yosemite as well. Due to resource limitations, upgrading to the newest OS was not recommended. I did lose the use of a couple of very old programs but I knew that before the upgrades.

There are always driver issues and bugs when a new OS is introduced. I always wait a few months before upgrading. The rapid introduction of new operating systems with often "new features" that are often of very little practical value is unfortunate and more of a problem than a help to Apple customers. There are a number of Windows laptops with i7s, 16 Gig memory, SSds and graphic cards promising fast performance at a cost $1000 or less. Actual performance testing yields mixed results with some i5s outperforming i7 machines. Realibility is another problem in my experience. If you want blazing speed get someone to build you a tower system with premium components. Don't expect a cheap, compromised machine to perform complex, resources hungry tasks.

The camera is fine if you need the long zoom. It will not shoot RAW and has no hot shoe. I believe there is a lot of noise reduction to make this thing work with such a long reach. Also, you have a small sensor so pics can be a bit soft compared to a DSLR or mirrorless. If you need the big zoom go for it. If not, there are better options out there for better quality images. This thing is a consumer product not an a real enthusiasts piece.

I purchased a number of VCRs and tapes mostly of Disney movies for the kids. All died, save one I still own, the victim of a broken belt or a terminal electronic illness. May they rest in peace.

The more I look at these photos the more I like them. In experienced hands film did capture great detail. Of course, the creative eye of the photographer made the difference then and makes the difference in today's digital world. Again, thanks for sharing these amazing works of art.
