Do you find any interest in this image?

I'm getting a feeling of texture (tapestry, other cloth) made by the horizontal bands of light and color behind the slender vertical weeds. I might feel differently tomorrow

Thanks for your time and feedback!

Just aesthetically, it's got nice colors and is in focus, but it's too busy and there's no real focal point (subject) no one place for your eyes to come to rest. I'm no artist, but I know what I like. I'm no pro, but We all have opinions, and I'm not afraid to DEVULDGE MINE. Certainly a nice pic, though but a little bland/weak. Keep shooting!! RJM

The colors and pattern/texture are beautiful. Since you are working on texture it fits the bill. I see it enlarged as a divider screen rather than a framed picture.

Hi Linda
I do a lot of shots just because I like the color and texture-with no real focal point. The colors in this picture are my favorites. It would make a great folding screen for in front of a fireplace as Swede suggested. Yes, I like it too!👍

PS, wouldn't the sun be considered a focal point?

Maybe, but it's not well defined. I agree with those that suggest that the image would be great as a divider-screen. What a swell idea, and I never saw it. I told you, I'm no pro.... And no One opinion is ever ENOUGH. All good comments here-in. We may see this print available for a room divider. RJM

Wonderful! Looks like a Japanese silkscreen.

Agree. I would cut the bottom to bare minimum.

The folding screen idea is most intriguing. I have been drawn to "just textures" a lot lately - not where you add them to an existing image (though I love that too, especially Dixiegirl's awesome work), but as they are in nature...well, with a bit of pp help too of course.

I agree that the sun is the subject.

Thanks so much, Linda!
