I have the 24-240 and it hasn't been off my "R" in two months and I love it.

Try Roberts out of Indianapolis. They might have the adapter and they ship to all states.

In the customize buttons menu, you can set one to switch between VF/screen. That might be what you want. I have mine set to the down arrow button.

I am trying to decide which lens is the best to buy. I have a Canon R and a 7D II and am looking to get a all-in-one lens. I was planning on the RF 24-240 but I can get a used 28-300 L in mint condition for $1400. I can get a used RF 24-240 for $700 - $800. I am thinking the "L" lens might be worth the extra money because I can use it on both cameras. I have the control ring adapter for the R.
I have the 16-35 L, 24-105 L, 70-200 f2.8 Sigma, 150-600 Tamron g2, and the RF 35 f1.8.
Suggestions appreciated.

I have a 7dmII and the canon 100-400 II
I take mainly college lacrosse photos. I need a second lens for tailgate and post game pics. Something less intrusive and more wide angle I guess.
Would like to only stick to the 100-400 and one other lens.
Any suggestions would be great.

24-105 for L. I got mine from Canon as a refurb for less than $900.

Scott Kelby has some good classes/videos on LR organization at KelbyOne. Matt Kloskowski has a couple of courses on LR also. I just bought the one on catalogs and learned quiet a bit. They are on mattk.com

I just bought some Powerextra off of Amazon and have had no problems. Scott Kelby recommends them and that is good enough for me.

I own Tamron and Sigma lenses but just bought the Canon 16-35 f/4 refurbished from Canon and I love it. It takes the best images of any lense I own.

Has anyone taken this course? If so, what's your opinion? This presentation will be available in a city near me this month. At $99 I'm tempted but wonder if I will actually gain much from it. I'm not an expert photographer by any means but I certainly know about the exposure triangle, WB, etc. If anyone has experienced this presentation I'd sure like to know what you thought of it. Thanks in advance for your input.

I went to the one in Indianapolis and thought it was very worthwhile.

I have the Tamron G2 and use it on the 7D mkII and 6DmkII. It works great on both. I traded in the Canon 100-400 series I for the G2 and have not regretted it. The autofocus on the 6D II is slower than on the 7D II.

Go to Floridabirdingtrail.com and it will give info on all kinds of nature parks all over Florida but it breaks it down into sections.

My feelings are if you cannot afford it don't get it but don't complain about what Adobe is doing. It is their business and they can run it as they see fit. We are not entitled to any freebies. There are a lot of things I would like to have but they are out of my price range or I do not feel they are a financially good investment (a canon 1DX mark II is one). If you don't like Adobe's pricing use what comes with your camera, find an alternative, or pay Adobe's price, it is your choice.
Has anyone used Topaz Studio and if so what do you think of it? It is free with limited capabilities.

I have the 7DII and the G2 and love the combo. I shot birds in Florida last winter and got some great static and BIF shots. There is a learning curve as the auto focus system seems to be pretty advanced so you need to try the different cases in the auto focus menu and find the one that works best for you, but once you get that dialed you should get some great shots..
