Just received my new FZ1000 and need to get a couple of spare batteries. The OEM’s price knocked me over and I have read mixed (but mostly positive) reviews on the equivalent Wasabi batteries for much less $$.
Anyone here using them in their FZ’s and have any plus or minus thoughts?
Have used Wasabi for years in several cameras. No problems - they also provide excellent small chargers which are much more convenient for travel than OEM.
For my old T1i I have one OEM (came with the camera) and five Lenmar batteries (bought at different times).
I have not had any problems yet.

My husband and I have been using Wasabis for many years with absolutely no problems/issues. Interestingly. I have only ever had one battery fail and it was an Sony OEM for an old P&S.
Buy one OEM and one Wasabi. That way you will be taking everybody's advice.
I buy OEM for all my Nikons. I do have a Watson that B&H threw in with a new D4s. It has never failed but seemed to age (not holding a charge as long) faster than the Nikon batteries.

My only concern about batteries is possibly voiding my warranty on my Panasonic Lumix GX85 but I just bought a 3rd party charger with two batteries and will take the risk. I did spend about $50 for a backup Panasonic battery previously, but I am concerned about the strength of the charging site lid. This camera is like the Nikon rangefinders I started out with in the early 1960's when I was first a full time newspaper photographer working my way through college. except that it is a computer with a lens in front of it. I must admit that this computerized version of a RF camera is way beyond my operation skills, but it is a fine camera.
I don't have any experience with Wasabi batteries but I do have several Watson batteries for my Sony A7RIII. They last as long as the 1 Sony that I got with the camera. Wasabi has a good reputation or I doubt B&H would stock them. Panasonic can't void the warranty on your camera just for using 3rd party batteries. If the batteries leaked or caused other damage, you'd have to seek remedy from the battery manufacturer. Then Panasonic would have probable cause to void the warranty.

I shoot Canon so my experience with Panasonic is severely limited. So let me venture an answer to your question. I specifically use Canon batteries in my camera. I am aware that it is more expensive than third party batteries. However, my biggest fear is that a third party battery may leak and damage the camera. Rather than risk harming my "baby" I'll pay a few dollars more for that piece of mind. I have five OEM batteries.

The use of third party batteries cannot void a warranty. This is covered under restraint of trade. You are allowed to buy what ever you choose to do so.

I have 4 Wasabi batteries for my Sony RX10 IV and A6300 and have had no problems (same battery).
I use Wasabe batteries in my Nikons and Fuji cameras and they work fine. I do notice that they don't last as long as the OEM, but since I only use them as backup it does not present a problem for me.
I wouldn't use anything but OEM batteries. I value my equipment.
