I would suggest you look at the Optech cross chest slings. They use a small tether that connects to each of the camera body that a regulst camera strap connects to, thereby leavinf the tripod connection free to use. You can disconnect the camera at any time to mount on your tripod. As for carrying your camera, irt is much more comfpotable than a conventional strap as it goes across your chest not around your neck, and it is simple to raise the camera to shoot pictures.

Its a no-brainer!1 I just bought this lens for my T2i, and have had nothing but good results. The canon is a bit faster, but you pay for that luxury. get the tamron, and put your other lenses away.

Look into the Tamron 18-270 lens. It will cover almost anything that you want to shoot. I have it and find it to be a good lens.

I just purchased a cross chest strap by Op-Tech (from amazon)..
The camera rests at your side at your side instead of in front on your chest. It easily is raised to take pictures using a slide on the strap. When not taking pictures I keep my hand on the camera as I walk etc.
I like this strap as it takes the pressure off your neck especially on hot days.

The second picture is much better, however I would have liked it better if the front yellow jacket was in focus. As it is now the out of focus yellow is a distraction as I look further down the line.

The picture was taken in Cappadocia, Turkey. The structures on the ground are natural formations that have been tunneled out to form living areas. They date back to almost 1000 years BC. They are all around the area and are quite something to see.

Thanks for your comments. She is one of my favotites. I love to find unusual people in a crowd. Everyone else there was in shorts or jeans, so she just stood out.
