I still have one bought it ca. 58
Both that you describe are portable
I get good results using an HP 6000 E office jet; They may be hard to find; check HP
I purchased a Manfrotto for $139 at Best Buy; it serves under most conditions; I don't shoot in inclement, windy, or other bad weather conditions.
are we talking about a snapshot of a wife in front of the War Memorial, or an eagle in a tree 300 yards away? The cell phone and DSLR (or mirror-less) each have their uses/places.
The 3300 and the 5200 are similar; the only reason to get the 5200 would be to have a newer camera. Do you have any lenses?
I would suggest you check on the 5200 as well; features are pretty much the same, but 5200 body is slightly larger and in my case handles easier
I would buy a telefoto and a reversing adapter to convert lens to macro. Reversing rings readily available at Amazon
I recently purchased thru Amazon. The Nikon lens was USA, not gray market and was very well packed. No complaints.

Trade it in at a reputable camera store.
