I've used my camera at the beach under some of the worst conditions and had no problems. I prepared before going to the beach by putting on a haze filter and putting in a plastic bag taped to the filter. The camera is still working great and that was over 10 yrs ago. The beach conditions were so bad I got my Knees wet.

I was at a Kodak development lab where they processed thousands of rolls per day and they realized the problem. They solved the problem and reprocessed the slides free. Now the building has been bulldozed and a school is on the site. Kodak removed the slide put on a spinner with some cleaning solution after cleaning coated and remounted. It only took about a minute per slide. Too bad we don't have Kodak to kick around anymore. They had been there and done that.

The square format was a bust for Kodak back when they introduced it. I would be up for a square sensor that would use present day full frame lenses. The frame would need to be shortened when the height is added and I would hope the ergonomics would be changed from 35mm we seem to be stuck with. I would expect the new camera to be mirror less. I have used mirror less cameras for 15 years and most of the drawbacks have been eliminated or reduced. I would like to see the curved sensor to help edge sharpness. Round sensors hahaha I know how difficult the semiconductor processes are and how costly supplies and materials are.

Just got a new computer because of hard drive failure. Should have removed more pictures and double backed them up on jump drives and other means. Have PS CS2 on CD however won't work on new computer. Now decided to rebuild to rebuild old computer. I guess another conputer wont hurt anything. Six computers for three people is not a glut.

Most of the time I think its best to invest in dirty things. They will pay off best in the long run. You might think about these check cashing and small loan agencies. They make a ton of interest and the victims will never be able to pay off the loan without real assistance. You might think about putting it in a small jar and burying it in the back yard then planting a large tree on top of it. It will help you from getting the urge to spend it.

New or Used? if you are a member of AAA Insurance when you need a new car they will give you the name of the fleet dealer in your area. He will give you a deal you can't beat. You'll get the car you want. I purchased one for myself and two months later purchased a used one with 28mi on it. It was sold to the used car lot and registered Dec 31 @9:10PM. You wouldn't believe what hanky pank these huge dealers do to keep their ratings. Their used lot had five of these cars. The fleet dealer will even be able to get a discount for you when the salesman cannot. I am not sure that he works for the dealer. He may work for the insurance company because all over his office he had AAA not Honda and his office was like in the basement. Good luck may all your deals be GREAT.

Full frame probably 300mm f2.8. Will get you around street photography and ceremony wedding photography. A longer lens will teach you to see better. With cell phones the one you have is probably best.

Back in the days of film photography I used a 500mm f8 manual everything on my camera. Most of the pictures were hand held It is important that you learn excellent hand holding techniques with big lenses. My company once had a camera day and I picked up a 400mm f2.8 lens and it blew my mind away. The company may not be in business any more as I never saw it advertised.

I have the feeling if I was buying a new lens it probably be a 300mm f2.8 forget IS ect. No one has ever commented on my pictures Quality.

The SNIPER SHOT may be great if you are a really good photographer, however I believe this method will get you better photos if you know what you are doing. You will need to know your lighting, exposure, makeup, posing, and post processing. You must also know why and what mood you are going for. Doing fine art, glamour and ect. you should probably schedule the model for 2 days hoping she is more relaxed the second day and so are you.

I have heard somewhere that for the centerfold Playboy would shoot between 200 and 400 8X10 sheets just for the centerfold, then the rest was typically 35mm.

I have been watching this and have seen a bucket load of sites on the topic. A good site is http://scantips.com and others even tell you how to convert negatives to positives. then if you really want to go try http://aljacobs.com with his custom built system. I think most scanners are too much trouble and slow.

I am not professional but I have a few questions for all of you. What happened to the wants of the customer? What if I asked for the chip out of the camera before you had a chance to download? Many pictures cost $$$ $$$$$$ $^10. I don't think you own the negatives or the right to even make one picture. Weddings may even fall into this category due to some costing over $50,000 maybe they don't want the pictures on your computer for years. Or who has control after divorce, death, or your demise.

You were paid for your time and talent to take the pix not how many prints and supplies you deliver.

If you don't want these jobs don't take them. You set the price and set the details. Maybe they don't on your computer at all. They may want the chip stored in a vault under their control.

Don't fly coach in most airlines. If you can't afford it forget flying or maybe walk or swim. I have been using Southwest lately and boarded as a disabled person. Called in 24 hrs in advance got front row in the plane. When I was in great shape I was hauled off a plane I was in a wheelchair with an airline assistant helping me.

Don't let her bring the camera to California because we can't afford to use that much water. Go digital for a couple of years until we have water.

Many of the advantages of the tilt shift lens has been covered. So has PS and Gimp these programs are nice however they don't correct for depth of field and most other as well.If I had my way I would machine my own bellows if I could find lenses with large enough image circle. Using full frame lenses on a crop sensor may help.

If you are scanning photos I have found all in one ink jet printers adequate. I presently use HP6520 and has worked well to scan my family history. This will get you working for less than $100. Digitizing slides or negatives there are many sites on Google however I would use a digital camera. Slides are one thing But getting color negatives ready for printing is another thing. I also think most of the questions can be answered at this site. Read most of it.
http://www.scantips.com I believe this site was written by WAYNE FULTON and he did a good job
