Buy a real Nikon one. You plan to put junk batteries in your new Nikon as well? You paid for a D7500, support the thing.
Why look for cheap grips for something that you paid good money for? I use Nikon brand grips, batteries etc.
I use a Mamfrotto tripod as well as a Manfrotto monopod, I switched both mounts to Arca Swiss. (AMAZON).
I grew up in Montreal, must see Vieux Montreal (Old Montreal) is stunning, the architecture and restaurants are amazing. Take a guided tour and see all the sights, walk on Mount Royal.
In Quebec City a must see is the old town and the Chateau Frontenac both upper and lower parts of the city. Nearby definitely see Montmorency Falls (higher than Niagara Falls), same area is Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupre Catherdral, app 35 KMS North East of Quebec City.
I will be using a monopod with a ball head and am wondering if I should switch off the VR while shooting, also should I be using a cable release?

Where have you looked and what have you looked at so far? Have you tried one?
I have not looked at anything yet, just started to look, would like to hear what others are using.
I use a Nikon D750 with a 24-70 and a 70-200 and i would like to get your recommendations on a monopod and head.
Thanks for the recommendations.
I am looking to purchase an L bracket to use with my Nikon D750 with battery grip, it must be compatible with my Manfrotto tripod, with a RC2 plate. Recommendations/suggestions please.
Life is not a popularity contest.
The honourable member from Nova Scotia clearly has no case against Henry's. Look in the mirror, that is where the responsibility lies. Henry's extended warranty clearly states what is covered. If you purchase most items and you damage them yourself through neglect or an accident then there is no warranty coverage. Where does your common sense and responsibility begin? I have been a customer of Henry's for a long time and I would have no problem recommending this company to anyone.
I am surprised that you would even ask this question. "Caveat Emptor".
First serious camera was a SLR, Konica T3 in 1974.
I shoot with a Nikon D750 with battery grip, 24-70mm and use a Custom Brackets Pro E, works perfectly. With this set up you will have to adjust the mounting plate to accommodate the battery grip then it will function very well.
The two stores that I would recommend are Henry's & Vistek, both provide excellent service. You should check if Nikon UK will warranty Nikon products purchased in Canada.
I have a pair of "Freehands" gloves that allow for the use of the thumb and index finger, they contain Thinsulate. They are ok for my use.
