I love playing with them too, "Hello this is the FBI on a traced and recorded line, do you have an emergency?", click!! or "hey please don't call here again, I'm robbing the tenants and I don't want them to wake up and find me."

From any current article you can click the <<return to digest link and it will bring you back to the same spot with the article you are leaving as the first one at the top of the page. At least that what it does for me.

Welcome Ascet3! If you want to see some awesome night/storm chasing photography/timelapse you need to check out my friend's videos here https://vimeo.com/risman. He conducts classes in Moab every year for astrophotography. I do know he uses the Sony A7s as just one of his camera's. Have fun out there!

Regardless of where the scorpion goes, I'd like to thank all our allied Service men and women across the globe for their sacrifices at home and abroad for protecting our Nation(s).

Scorpions don't usually live on boats/ships, so it would probably be a photo in a magazine and they would turn the page!

Everything we (adults) view is from about 5 to 6 (on average) feet off the ground and many people take photos at that height. I've begun to think about the different angles such as, "bugs eye view" or "children's eye view". What does the world look like to them? Since I don't have a drone, the "bird's eye view" view is out! Think about the different heights and how that can change your image. Good luck!

Nothing worse than having a bunch of over the shoulder guests getting the same shot that the pro setup and now has to wait for everyone to get theirs in. There is usually limited time between the ceremony and reception that the pro has to get all the formals completed and depending on the desires of the couple may take some time to coordinate groups. I go to family gatherings and take candids or if there are some families that want there own pics done, I'll find a spot away from the activity to do some special pics. These are the pics that the pro may not have time to get, but could prove extremely gratifying for the bride and groom. They don't always see what is happening away from the reception. Good luck and have fun!

Above all the other great suggestions above, think about these.

1. Get there before the gates open. I have been to some where they offered a "photographers package" where you can enter early and get up close to the planes
2. Bring a chair, sometimes there are gaps between "acts"
3. Sunscreen!
4. See if you can find out where they will leave/enter the tarmac along the fence line, this will give you great head on shots.
5. Bring a friend so that if you have to leave your spot you can get back there. Once you leave the fence line, (if that's where you so choose to shoot from) it will fill in quickly and you won't get back there.
6. Water!

I was at one a few years ago and not knowing what to expect didn't do any of the above. It was about 90 degrees that day!

Almost anywhere in New England can be a photog's paradise. From the small quaint little villages along the Atlantic seacoast, to the summertime fun in the lakes region to the White Mountains year round, all have their seasonal benefits for capturing that fraction of a second that won't ever happen again, you just have to be there!
