For the price they are charging, I doubt many will try them, unless they sell it in a kit rather than by the piece, and drop their pricing by a considerable sum. A full kit would cost as much as an iPhone!

You do that? All this time we thought you did others too!

Sorry, Ken. I'm unapologetically heterosexual, as well as human. I'm pretty sure you don't qualify as either.

Like Obummer trying to claim that Muzzies helped settle America? That Muzzies helped build the country? That kind of rewriting history?

Thus proving that you are an i***t. Does this sound like rewriting history?

The history of American Muslims goes back more than 400 years. Although some evidence suggests that there were Muslims on Columbus’ ships, the first clearly documented arrival of Muslims in America occurred in the 17th century with the arrival of s***es from Africa. Scholars estimate that anywhere from a quarter to a third of the ens***ed Africans brought to the United States were Muslims. Large numbers of Moriscos (former Muslims of Spain and Portugal) also came to the Spanish colonies, including many areas of what is today the United States. Although ens***ed people were denied freedom of religion, many did practice their faith in secret and pass it on to their children. There are several autobiographies of Muslim s***es that survive from this period, including some by individuals who were involved in the Abolitionist movement and were Union soldiers during the Civil War.

The next significant wave of Muslim immigrants began in the mid-19th century. During the late 19th century until the 1920s, large numbers of Arabs, mostly from Lebanon and Greater Syria, arrived in the United States. Although the majority of these immigrants (almost 90%) were Arab Christians, there were sizable clusters of Muslims, most of whom settled in the Midwest. Mohammed Alexander Russell Webb, an early American convert to Islam, established a mosque and mission in New York City in 1893. The first mosque structure built in the United States for the purpose of serving a Muslim community was in Ross, North Dakota (1929) and the oldest surviving mosque is in Cedar Rapids, Iowa (1934).

African-Americans began to rediscover their African Islamic roots after the Great Migration of B****s from the South to the Northern cities after World Wars I and II. The re-emergence of African-American Islam has been a consistent phenomenon during the twentieth century until the present. Today, African-American Muslims constitute roughly a third of the American Muslim population.

After passage of the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965, greater numbers of Muslims began migrating to America along with many other immigrants with diverse backgrounds. The change in i*********n l*ws allowed highly-sk**led professionals to enter the U.S. Many Muslims who came during this time period were from the Middle East and South Asia (India, Pakistan and Bangladesh).

O = Original

Somehow, I would figure that someone with as much knowledge as you purport to have could figure that out.

whats the shutter count [or clicks]

Take a picture with your D70s. Transfer it to your computer. Upload the picture to http://www.camerashuttercount.com and it will give you the shutter count for your camera. They do not store the picture... they just extract the shutter count info and tell you what it is.

How about telling us what your eBay ID is so we can use the advanced search function instead of looking through hundreds or thousands of eBay auctions.

You go, Helen! Adorama has always provided great service to me, both through online purchases AND in the store. I was really surprised at that post you referenced. I've never gotten less than 100% satisfaction from Adorama over the years. Your counter and phone personnel have often gone above and beyond to help me out.

The first camera I ever bought was from 42nd Street Photo when I was nineteen and had no sense or experience.. Although it was a decent camera, it wasn't what I asked for -- it was an upsell. That was also the LAST piece of equipment I ever bought from them. In the forty years since, I have heard hundreds of stories about 42nd Street Photo -- not a one positive!

I deal exclusively with B&H, Adorama, and KEH. I have never gotten a foul tip from any one of the three. All reputable, and all dependable.

The value lies mostly with the body. The lenses, other than the Canon, are average. The T-90, though, is sought after. As far as price goes, KEH currently has 5 bodies in excellent condition for $126.00 each, and 2 bargain bodies at $79.00. It is worth noting that only in the last year or so have the T-90's been coming on the used market in any quantity -- many of them have been kept, and used, since the original production dates. They were highly cherished, and have a justifiable reputation as one of the finest manual cameras ever. That said, I'll stick to my Nikons!
