I have had a half dozen 20"x 30" metal prints made by Costco. They are very impressive and I've sold every one of them. They hang easily and I won't be around if they ever fade.
I have a Yongnuo 100mm f2 Lens for my Canon 5DMKIV and 6D MKII. It is a autofocus lens which is great for low light available light portraits. It is very well made and performs extremely well. I would highly recommend it. I use it more than my Canon 85mm f 1.8.
Beautiful capture! While living back East owls were more available in Nevada. I was a regular visitor to The Raptor Trust which rehabilitated injured birds of prey!
Pete Souza is just a wonderful, gifted, and knowledgeable photographer who is sensitive enough to capture great moments. Whatever instrument he used doesn’t make a difference. He’s just a true artist. I happen to be a Canon user, but if you value your craft, you master your tools.
Thank you Pete Souza!
I imprint my signature on the image before I have them printed on metal or acrylic.
I have made several metal prints from Costco and they are spectacular! They are not cheap but don’t need frames and are breathtaking. I think the 20”x30” is about $99. Well worth the investment.

If the original will fit on your scanner, use it, you'll get a better result without all the paraphernalia needed to copy eg, tripod, easel lighting, and post processing.
I have owned this beast for a year. I photograph performers on stage, and it is awesome. I just turned 91 on Wednesday. I sometimes use a monopod. I highly recommend this lens and the price is fair.
I used to develop roll film in my parent's bathroom, then when I had my own home, built a darkroom in the basement. I then had all of my film processed by a lab. I started using digital many years ago after purchasing an Agfa B&W digital. I then had my prints scanned and used Version 1 of Photoshop. The flexibility of digital is marvelous. Give the room back to your wife and explore the marvels of digital.

I am pretty new at photography. I have a Nikon D7200. How do I transfer my photos to my PC?
Simple buy a card reader. Older Mac Pro Laptops have a slot for reading SSD cards.
Beautiful group of images. You've a great eye!
I own the Sigma 150-600mm lens and it's a beast. I shoot performers on stage and it works great. I have no need for a greater focal length, but to lose the sharpness and aperture is not worth it.
I am a Canon full frame user ( 5DMK4 and 6DMK2) I've been using the Tamron 70-200mm f2.8 and am very satisfied. I also have the Sigma 150-600 and LOVE it. They're two very different animals but serve me well.
Great images! Use of B&W very appropriate.
