looking for a 70-200 f/2.8 lens

thinking about the Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 lens, new sport version. Does anyone out own or have any experience with this lens & is it sharp & rugged ? Thanx in advance would appreciate any help

If your asking about the Canon...the f2.8L II & III are fantastic lenses and probably my favorite lens I own. Very sharp, quick focus, amazing color clarity, quite and silky smooth bokeh.

What about the Nikon 70-200 f2.8? The new version is reportedly an excellent lens. More expensive than the Sigma, but worthy of your consideration if it fits your budget.

Tamron 70-200 2.8 G2 very good, way less expensive than Nikon !!

I got the Nikon version used works incredibly good and I programmed the buttons on the lens.

Look at youtube reviews. There are many reviews comparing Tamron, Sigma, and Nikon. I have the Tamron G2 and love it.
