Continuing with my photographs of our fire department, here are a few photographs from a structure fire which occurred this past Thursday. No one was hurt.As I always try to capture the intensity of the moment as they risk their lives serving our community. I used a NIKON D5, 80mm-200.. 2.8 Af-s, ISO 650-1250; 1/500 sec @ 5.6 - 8. Download for best viewing.

Thank you so much for sharing these. They really capture the intensity of the moment and the black and white is perfectly suited.

Wow Doc these are the real deal. I spent 12 years as a volunteer fireman and I know what these guys are going through on a hot fire scene. They sweat heavily inside that Turn-out Gear while trying to extinguish the flames and the presence of hot steam vapors are hazardous to exposed skin so every inch of their body must be protected.

Your images are gorgeous. Thanks for remembering these heros.

Great! Each image seems to tell a story, well done. Also, think B&W adds to the impact, but would like to see a couple in color.
