They'll have to pry my flash drives from my cold dead hands.

In 10-20 years, current flash drives won’t be able to be read. Consider cassette tapes or Zip drives.

We take photos to show others what we saw. Why bring AI into the photo and lie about what we photographed? Be honest about your photography.

If we really wanted to show others what we saw, we wouldn’t take out the intrusive power lines, litter on the ground, ugly sky, etc, etc.

With AI, pretty soon you won't have to take photos yourself. Your phone will make friends with your friend's phones, and they'll go out together and have a good time. All you need to do is stay home and watch the videos they took.

Be sure to pack them a picnic lunch.

The defining characteristic of photography is that it is based on the action of light on a light sensitive material. In my view, if the image starts out that way, it remains a photograph no matter how much it is manipulated. An exception might be if another medium is added, such as purely computer generated imagery, then it would be mixed media.

So if I take this first image (a photograph) and manipulate it to this second image, then the second image is still a photograph?

Somebody better explain to me what constitutes a photograph. Many of us manipulate the raw image so it's almost unrecognizable from the original. Using all kinds of effects and filters and other devices built into our very sophisticated editing software (which itself uses AI). When does it become Not a photograph?

My problem with Peak Design straps is the gripper part of the strap is on the outside part of the strap. My shoulder’s slope and the strap just easily slides off my shoulder.

I have twice used Time Machine to backup all the stuff on one machine and then copy it all to a new machine. The new machine then has everything, including all the desktop folders, etc.

Not a very challenging puzzle at 100 pieces but maybe suits your needs.

Go to the menu. They also make 500, 1000, etc piece puzzles.

Actually a normal image processed through a program that produces glitches (like those vertical lines that sometimes showed on early TV shows).

I transitioned from a MacBook pro (not Big Sur) to the iMac M1 (Big Sur). Just backed everything from my laptop to Time Machine and then restored to the iMac. Other than some other apps not working on Big Sur, all else seems OK.
