Sounds like a trip to the technician may be in order. My suggestion was just for testing. It's easy to delete unwanted files when the test is over.
Have you tried setting up Raw going to CF and Jpeg going to SD?
I bought a N1 V1 in 2012. Used it for about a year, then gave it to my Son. Here are 2 shots from the camera. I liked the camera for its portability. I had the zoom lens on mine.
It is past time for me to invest in and learn to drive calibration software. I'm dumber than a rock on this subject. So, please offer your opinions and suggestions.
"May I ask what features you liked? And, where you bought it?"
Oops. Forgot this part. Online at Epson. They are running a rebate program, which helps with the cost.
Mainly, it was a compromise. The printer uses 8 inks compared to the 6 my old printer uses. It is compatible with Windows 10. The user comments were complimentary. It fit the budget. Cost was a big factor.
Thanks to everyone for your input. In the end it came down to an Epson P400, which made the most sense in $$$ and what kind of prints I actually need to make. There's loads of great options out there; and I'll wonder what if ____, but really this is the best fit, today.
Best wishes and Merry Christmas. BP
I'm requesting opinions regarding printers. My Epson Stylus Photo 1400 is wearing out. So, in your experience, does it matter between Epson and Canon when it comes to ink cost overall, nozzle cleaning issues, problems from sitting idle for a couple of weeks? I've never been satisfied with the red colors I got from the Stylus 1400, but always figured it was a user problem. Does one make favor reds?
Thanks.
I don't have the Nikon 24-70, but did get a Sigma 24-105. I appreciate the image stabilization. It surprised me how much better the images look. I think you will be equally satisfied with image stabilization (VR) . Furniture just wears out and the birds mess it up.
I'm requesting some opinions. These two lenses seem similar on the surface. The Nikkor can be bought a little cheaper. Has anyone out there had experience with either of these two lenses? If so, what are your thoughts on the good, bad, and ugly of working with it? If you had it to do over, would you use the same choice?
Thanks.
I would have liked to see a more lighting in the lower right portion of the composition. That area doesn't show any separation between the subject's black sweater and the background.
The white fur on the dog might need a little more detail (more light) but still looks great, as is. The rest of the composition looks fine.
Overall good picture.
